Editor’s Note: Today’s WHPR features an in depth look at eUS Foreign Policy over the past year. It’s such a big story, so important, that today’s PDB Leaks and War Maps segments are a bit light to make room for it. If you don’t read it, you’re doing it wrong.

Shifting Tides and Bonds; the Evolution of eUS Foreign Policy
Senior White House Correspondent Azazel Romanov

I have been tasked to write a piece regarding our foreign policy over the last year. We've seen several twists and turns, and its been an interesting ride for sure. It was particularly exciting for me to investigate our course over the year, and I am quite impressed with what I have found.

At the start of this year, the eUS was in a dramatically different situation. President Wild Owl had finally completed the months long process of the eUS joining a new alliance, Sirius, which brought us in with several old allies and several new compatriots. Former adversaries Poland and Spain became friends and old bonds with Croatia and Turkey were renewed. The former TWO countries we hadn't gotten along with formed up into Asteria including China, and the remains of CoT reorganized as the new alliance Aurora. LETO and Root were also born as countries aligned with either Asteria or Sirius's orbit. For a time, it seemed like this alliance would work for us. However, after spending time in this alliance, the typical bloc alliance dramas began to play out. We all remember Molly Emma getting blamed for not assisting Spain in a way the alliance saw fit, so the eUS was pushed out of Sirius for not properly following orders. At the time, it seemed like the eUS would be shunned internationally and be on its own.

Despite this, the eUS has managed to maintain many of its Sirius relationships while exploring new avenues and a new foreign policy. The eUS got together with its old friend Russia to discuss how we could move forward, and it was from that which Pacifica was created. Established as a bro-alliance between Russia and the eUS, we can see how this alliance has already started to grow. Later on, Latvia was accepted into the group, and then the Taiwan (RoC) was brought fully into the fold. There are even talks that Finland's great relations with Pacifica may translate into being a new member. Pacifica is a new test for the eUS since we have never really experimented with small alliances, but it appears to be working out well for us so far. Our friendships and bonds with our Pacifica partners have grown strong as the world shifts around us.

With the new alliance, the eUS is still able to maintain proper foreign affairs, even with countries on opposing sides. From Sirius, we maintain stellar relations with Croatia, Turkey, and Poland. From Aurora, Mexico and Chile remain friends with the eUS, the former we recently helped in a high stakes airstrike from Argentina. Even from Asteria, we can see new relationships forming with countries like Greece and China. This proves that we are able to transcend bloc alliance commitments and forge relationships independently and to our liking rather than where we are forced to do so. It puts us in a position where we can pursue our own interests while helping close friends who share similar concerns. While massive wars rage between Sirius and Asteria, we continue to enjoy resource prosperity and a stable peace. Pacifica has offered us unprecedented flexibility in foreign affairs that allows us to choose our own course in the coming months. As we look at our past and present, it appears that the future is bright and full of new opportunity with regards to foreign affairs.

Presidential Daily Briefing: Days 2544-46

Bits and pieces today, just a sampling of each day’s PDB.
Still settling in, sorting out access, Dept heads adding or removing Staff, and of course State, NSC and DoD talking about secret stuff to keep America winning.

Nov 7 (Day 2544)

Former CP and Presidential Advisor Molly Emma: “Told my boss she's borderline psychopathic. Got a raise.”

Former CP and current Vice President Josh Frost: “Woke up, drank some coffee, took a sh*t, and decided I hate you guys. Things are going great so far. 🙂

Nov 8 (Day 2545)

Frost: “Checking in... I have no sarcastic comments for the day. 🙁
Oblige: Could you at least make fun of Pfeiffer's recent article in which he declares himself the "All Father?"

Nov 9 (Day 2546)

NSC member TheMike provided this “less Sensitive” version of NSC Chair John NWP’s report on resetting Determination:
“NSC is currently working on yet another determination resetting operation. This time round it is Japan's turn. Determination in Hokkaido (Deer) has reached 1.26 and in Tohoku (Fish) - 1.25. Once we liberate Tohoku (it will be the first RW of the two), it won't only affect our food boni (lowering them to 80% for the time) but also our house and weapon boni because our capital (Colorado) will lose its direct link to our Hamgyong (Iron) and Ryangang (Sand) regions in North Korea, thus lowering our house and weapon boni to 90%. If everything goes as planned and we liberate both regions at once (as usual), we will attack as soon as possible when the Natural Enemy law passes on Tuesday early morning.
On Wednesday all eUS citizens should be able to WaM (Work as a Manager) at 100/100/100 boni.”

War Maps & Analysis
War Correspondent Alexander_Auctorias

Today, we keeping it short and sweet.

When last we looked over Europe, Serbia and Albania had a good little war going. Seems Serbia took the easy way out and managed to close the war. In the meantime, they are beating up on Albania. If they take Albanian Coast, it'll be back on like Donkey Kong.

Alas, The UK had an eight win streak going against Canada, but Canada has not secured Quebec. Manitoba is a toss-up right now, so we'll see how this goes.

Our southern Brothers, Mexibro, have again been attacked by Colombia. I suggest we kick a little butt and defend our friends, and I'm sure we will.

Long Live Mexico!

Long Live our Friendship!

Keep clicking and Keep Shaking that @ss.
