Hi kids!
As some of you may know, I can only take so much BS. I wont belabor the point that our country has been in better shape. I'm not pointing fingers. A lot of our woes are due to collective fubars and just plain apathy. FWIW I completely support chukcha for CP this month. I may or may not be running myself soon. It depends on my RL schedule and what the situation of the eSwiss may be.
Meanwhile there are things that need done. I've tried my best to be gentle as a lamb. That no longer works for me. Enter the 362.874 kg gorilla (metric friendly version of the 800 lbs gorilla).
I Understand Food Is Expensive
I find in Kaad's recent article this complaint:

The basic principal is that the Swiss econ will never grow if we rely upon imports. All the profit will go to the importer and original producer. Screw that. If we cannot produce food in Switzerland for a decent price then I will simply bring it in from the eUS and sell it for cost. I am also capable of producing some of my own Q5 food and will expand to full production shortly.
If any Swiss producer wishes to join me in producing at a reasonable price that is great. If you wish to undercut me that is even better! I am not selling for profit and your lower price will even better help the Swiss consumer.

Phase II is complete. All weapons price reduced to a more normal price. (Actually just matched jkli5's price on Q1, he was spot on.) I will attempt to keep Q7's the same as other markets. Other Q's may be slightly higher.
Q1-Q6 are mostly for building rockets so...

Down The Road
Look for new lower prices in the Weapons category. [DONE] I've noticed that there are some producers here that make the effort to sell at a good price. These will not be harmed.
[UPDATE] If people think it necessary I would add one other food Q. However it seems that all food is reasonably close in price and of course this fluctuates pretty regularly. Q5 is handy because of the 5 use giving 10% Energy and is more compact for smaller Storage facilities.

I answered, It is true that it haves a very very small on country economy, but a very high on players.
By selling it at normal prices, you encourage national players to buy without mooving and thats actually a good thing.
Some new players are not aware that our prices are 4x higher than in other countries.
Not all prices are out of line, but those that are kill any chance we have a something like a normal econ. I do not propose that everyone will have profitable companies, this could never happen. I do not propose that everyone will have a large salary, this could never happen. What I do propose is that the econ be stabilized to see what it will do with normal sales of product.
I did not get to talk with individual producers, as my original plan was. For some reason I find myself following dozens of PM's with similar conversations about old subjects and arguments about whether to fight or not. This no longer is satisfactory. I'm simply gonna start fixing shit.

I like what you're doing dill. Stabilizing the prices is a good idea if you can afford it and it will help out the econ really well!
Actually this doesn't really cost much, if anything. One of my buddies from the US will simply supply me with what is needed (assuming I can't make it my self) and the consumer will simply pay the US market price. This is a not-for-profit deal.
I'd help if I could get in that damn eCountry. Seems eSaudi Arabia and eFinland are more hospitable.

Yes I am sending profits overseas also, but it is for a purpose and my supplier and I are not making anything from it. The purpose is to attempt to restart the Swiss econ, get people buying again.
A 1% import tax does nothing except put profits in foreign hands. Of course I don't care what you do. The foreigners will not beat my price. They cannot and make any profit. If they want to beat my price and lose money it will be very cheap products for Switzerland! YaY
simple rule: production in switz NOT profitable
high taxes -> high prices
more imports -> low prices -> more buyers
Even simpler rule: importer cannot sell cheaper than me.
I buy from cheap market through friends -> just like importer
Neither of us take a profit -> product sells for lowest price -> most buyers
Remember the golden rule:

I want to stop foreign people from profiting from the Swiss economy. 99% import tax stops them.
I bring in stuff from the US (or wherever is cheaper) to supply Swiss with reasonable prices. (Compare to the rest of the world.)
I do not take a profit. As a matter of fact I am at a loss with 15% VAT but this is good for the Swiss Treasury so I do not complain.
These low prices will encourage an active Swiss economy. When local producers wish to sell at more normal prices I will work with them. I wish to harm no honest person.
The income tax is 1% to benefit all Swiss workers.

FWIW, VAT is 15% on both food and weapons. If this takes off and I start losing a lot of money I may increase the cost to cover VAT. At current prices, That would make Q5 food go up from .19 to .22 and Q7 tanks go up from 8.20 to 9.43 . This just depends upon demand and whether my surplus can buffer the taxes.
At any rate, I will endeavor to put product on the market at the lowest price possible so buyers have a choice between buying off Swiss market or going to the black market.

what you never mentioned in this article is what a f*****g mess admin has made of the economic module.
that's one of the reasons (maybe the biggest) we need to circumvent the system.

Just looking at the market. Q5 food OK. Q4, Q6 and Q7 weapons are OK because I have stuff on sale. 😉 All other Q's weapons have some Swiss offers at or less than mine. Q7 has 145 sold since yesterday.
