Hello My Dear Participants And Non-Participants,

Well done guys, thank you very much! 🙂 Thank you especially Broken72, Uv Ajed, ANANTHAKRISHNAN, and Obelisk The Tormentor for advertising the article. Phew! So much of work! Anyways, now Participants read carefully. You should know this information before registering. Here it goes:

Player Quality

By now you all should know that you are making an imaginary team and you'll be its owner. You'll pitch it against other participants and their imaginary teams and matches will be played with normal soccer rules. This is how this league will reach its result. Anyways, when filling the form you'll be asked the Quality of each Player in your team. Now, what is Player Quality? It is how a Player usually plays on the Soccer Ground. If the Quality of a Player is high, then he'll perform outstandingly and nicely during a match. If it is low, then he'll show average skills during a match. It is how your Player performs. It is very much similar to the Quality of our Food and Weapons in eRepublik. In fact, this whole concept was borrowed from this thing. Quality also refers to how much Experience a Player has. For example, a high Quality Player will be someone who has played Football for many years, while a low Quality Player will be an amateur. Do you get my point? This is the basic thing you should know.

Note: Whatever Player Quality you choose, it'll remain the same during the whole League. So, choose wisely. This is because, you'll be bounded by a budget. Yes, you'll have to buy players. (Look at the UFLC section) Obviously, high Quality Players will cost more, and low Quality will cost less. You'll have to make your team within the budget, if your team exceeds the budget, it'll not be accepted and you'll have to remake the team. Don't worry, you won't have to spend INR. We have an in-league currency used for buying Players.

There are 3 Types of Players:

Q3 Players: They are Professional Footballers. They've played till the National or International levels and show extremely outstanding skills. They play excellent and are also known by the UFL as 'The Perfects'. They can be very profitable for your team and can increase your chances of winning the Cup. However, they are very expensive.

Q2 Players: They are kind of Medium-Level Players. They've played till District or State levels and sometimes show very nice and outstanding skills. They normally don't play as good as the Pros but they can show Medium-Level skills. They are profitable in terms of money. They are fairly affordable. They are known by the UFL as 'The Profitables'.

Q1 Players: They are real Amateurs. They have played only till Inter-School or College level. They show average skills. They are mostly kept in substitutions during matches. However, sometimes they can play very good. Most of the times they're taken into teams because Owners can't afford any more Q2 or Q3 Players. They are very cheap in terms of money. They are aka by the UFL as 'The Noobs'.

So guys, it's your call. What do you prefer more, Experience or Money? You'll have to make a strategy that can fit both into your team. That'll be a good team. Go on, read ahead! 🙂

UFLC - Ultimate Football League Currency

Yes, this is the in-league currency I was talking about. You'll use this currency as a budget for buying Players and making your team. 1INR = 100 UFLC. I am already giving you a budget of 250,000 UFLC. Understand that you have it right now. When asked to make a team, you'll have to decide the Quality of your Players and sum up the price they're taking and subtract it from your current amount. If you still have some currency remaining, then way to go! Your team fits the budget. If no, then maybe consider re-making the team... If you want more UFLC, you can donate me INR according to the above rate (inform me through messaging before donating). I'll give you the required amount of UFLC. But for the starting point, every one has 250,000 UFLC. Remember: Your maximum limit for buying UFLC from INR is 50,000 UFLC, i.e. 500 INR. After that, you won't be able to take more. You can use the extra UFLC as increased budget for buying players.

Here's the Price taken by each Player according to his Quality:

1xQ3 Player: 30,000 UFLC
1xQ2 Player: 20,000 UFLC
1xQ1 Player: 10,000 UFLC

You'll need 14 Players to make a Team, so decide the Quality of all 14 Players and the total price should fit in the budget.

Here's an example Team that fits the budget:
3xQ3 Players = 90,000 UFLC
5xQ2 Players = 100,000 UFLC
6xQ1 Players = 60,000 UFLC
Total: 14 Players and 250,000 UFLC (Challenge Completed!)

So go on, try different combinations and make different teams. You're Owner, and here's your most important decision... Your decision will shape your Team's performance significantly. So take your time and create your Team. Tip: Write all your ideas in a notepad, try different combinations and decide whatever you like the best, and while filling the form, create your team accordingly.

Note: Don't post your Team Structure in the comments, other people might get to know about your strategies or planning and copy.

Team Manager

If you understood everything until now, very well dude! Great going! Read ahead! If not, first clear your doubts with me, and then read ahead. (Non Participants, this section is also for you.)

Have you seen real-life Football Clubs? Each Club has a Team Manager. But in this game, you have an option of keeping a Team Manager. It's totally optional and onto the decision of the Owner. Yes, come to think of it. What do real-life Owners do? They are the money-holders and supply money. They just sit back and watch their team perform. But, in the beginning, they've to make the most important decision of creating a team. And what does the Manager do? He keeps the record of team's performance, gives team the Orders in or before a match, tactics, formation, style of play, etc. everything is decided by him. He's the direct one responsible for Team's performance.

In this league, you, the Owner have the option of keeping a Team Manager. As an Owner, you can even be the Manager for your own Team. But that'll give you a lot of work and responsibility. You'll have to decide all I mentioned above before every match and message me. According to your info, your team will play. If you're unable to provide me info, your Team will play with random tactics, formation, etc. If you wish to pass on the responsibility, you can keep a Team Manager. What you'll have to do is convince any Non-Participant to help you and be your Team's Manager. Or you can wait for any request from a Non Participant. Yes Non-Participants, if you want to participate, contact the Owners I mentioned above and request them. If they agree you can be their Team Manager. Remember: You'll have the responsibility then. Team Managers and Owners consult each other before finalising the style of play before any match. Owners can ONLY keep ONE Team Manager. And Non-Participants, per person you can be the Team Manager for only ONE Team.

Now here comes the interesting part, what do Team Managers get? If you keep a Team Manager, you'll have to share half of your winning prize with the Team Manager regardless of whatever you win. The Owners can also make a deal with the Team Manager of what they'll share. It's not compulsory to share half of your prize. BUT, you have to share something. So, if you share the responsibility, it'll cost you. Think about it. What do you want?

Okay, Owners who want a Manager (currently): ANANTHAKRISHNAN, Uv Ajed.

These are all the things you should know before Registration. If you've any doubts, don't hesitate to message me. I'll reply as soon as possible! 🙂

Anyways,
Signing Off,
Kunal.
