Hello there United Kingdom,

You all know that in a few more hours we will have another Congress elections, so I as Party president want to give you the “Official list”- our best and brightest and the shining lights I think can take our country into the times ahead.

This month the party has departed from our usual method for congress elections. Usually, we stick a signup thread on our forum, allow our members to show their interest, and then assign them to regions. This normally gives us 15-20 candidates with the goal of ‘winning’ the elections by virtue of electing the most candidates. Unfortunately, while this might look good on paper, but I think it’s probably the least helpful method for the country! The levels of activity in congress are at a low ebb, and we need to fix that. Congress used to be a body politic that kept the CP firmly in check, preventing excesses of power and promoting activity; the reverse seems now to be the case.



With that in mind, we have decided on a new strategy this month: to ‘win’ congress by activity instead of numbers. We’ve picked our ten best and brightest to give our official support to, and will not be sending party votes anywhere else. We’ll be encouraging all congressmen we elect to be a true opposition to the current CP, while supporting him in making the country active, effective and fun, and we encourage you to join with us to do the same!

This is who we are, these are our numbers. I ask for your support and your vote tomorrow at the polls, help us to once again be the party that opposes mediocrity, inactivity, apathy, and instead champions the light!
