The Politics of eAmerica
Alpha Zette
Now this is a topic I've wanted to spam for a lonnngg time. To say politics in eRep have absolutely no relation to politics in RL is pmuch correct. however... comparisons can be made for the sake of entertainment.
We citizens seem to like to go for the more extremist "looks when trying to make a point. Parties(and other related organizations) may be given names entirely opposite of their primary 'principals' and/or actions. Over time, the average person has become quite cold and disinterested in hearing any more hype or promises. We want to see more results before making our decisions. We, either, wait until we're actually standing in the eRep voting booth, or(due to apathy) when we see the results the next morning.
So what? Sure... that's a valid response from anyone who has stayed far from where that action takes place. But with so many of us doing this... sup for the future? "I don't care" isn't an attitude I can "go" with very long in this game. I came here for a reason: "To play to 'win', by making substantial and obvious contributions to the advancement of my country in the NEW World! And to play this social game requires some "social activity".
For most of my life I've been, primarily, a "mechanics" player. Completely relying on the modules for advancement in the game, I "integrated" my very eLIFE with the eRep economic system. That's it. NOTHING else (except for some brief, 'polit-fail' and my ill-advised(so far)'fail-career' in the military.
Doing it all since BETA days. Failed in MOST things.(even stopped training and fighting because I listened to poor advice about how to save wellness). But... through it all... with the help of some more capable and self-sacrifing friends... I learned to be "as one" with the economy.
How can anyone "LOVE" the economics in this game? GOOD question... if you're blinded ...focusing completely on other areas. But no one area is played in a "vacuum". (to be continued)

Thank you. Voted
Same bunch of clowns that waged economic war on us a week or so ago. Go away pests.
@ Princefigs: See you brought your great experience over to this article too. Seems like you like to stay on "top of things" by searching out obscure articles not yet ready for the masses. Since you probably stay up late, searching for stuff you can troll, you'd probably be way 2 tired to actually try to SEE any serious points, anyway... but... (i can hope)
But... again... until we place ads that "distract" you to our articles... guess we didn't really waste TOO much of your time.
"Economic war"? Most people in military know that the official USA Military definition has to do with working at lowest possible wellness in enemy companies. What WE did was to lower the cost of food during important battles... thus HELPING the great people of this nation, to fight more. Of course, company owners acting purely in self interest got "upset'. Sorry.
Of course... doing so, we "cut our own throat" in that economic experiment. But it was worth it if it served as a warning to some of our more insightful leaders. IF(when?) the enemy deprives us of regions providing America with the ABILITY to produce what we need to wage a prolonged war or "weakening seige", there COULD be another "Fortress Florida". Remember what happened? Tickets so high, we couldn't move all our citizens(let alone mobilize military units). Poor Florida farmers trying to support our food companies from a low resource region...
If Emerick hadn't acted fast, with emergency negotiations, I don't believe we could have held on much longer.
(... It's been a LONG time...)
...Imagine what the members of our old group could do NOOOW... with the simplified "tools" we have.
