Day 3,092, 18:11 Published in USA USA by GoneAndGone

Dear Federalist Party,

This is going to be the strangest article I've written for you guys. Not because its content manner is weird, or because I don't know what I would like to say to you. But simply because I never thought I'd be here.

For those of you who don't know me, and don't know my story, I'm going to bring you on board real quick. I've had three careers in this game: I played in South Africa, I played here in the eUS, and then I retired, for what I thought would be good. But, today's stories feature my times in South Africa. There, party politics was very different from the eUS. The posts were left open for newer players to get involved, top members of the community hardly ever were Party Presidents, Vice Presidents, etc. So, really, my political career was forged in those early years in Party Politics. I led the largest party in the country both in numbers and congressional representation before I moved onto executive posts. It was awesome, but it left me thinking that party politics were behind me. Needless to say, it was a bit of a culture shock when I came here to the eUS and saw that all the top players - Pfeiffer, Molly, Cromstar, Israel, Evry - were the leaders not just of the country, but of their parties too. But, I had no intentions of getting involved in party politics, and largely stuck away from it.

At some point though, that changed. And really, I can thank Paul and Aramec for that, as they both encouraged me to join the Federalist Party on my most recent unretirement tour. And I did, mainly to shit post on these forums too. But, they both told me I should start trying to get involved, so I tried being active on these forums, and tried getting involved in the cabinet. Thankfully for me, Tyler Bubblar, aka my boy, was running for PP last term, and allowed me to sign on as VP. And really, I hit the ground running. And actually enjoyed it. I found it refreshing to be not shitposting, but highlighting the greatness that is the Fed Party. It was nice to be speaking in a positive light, and not be trapped in shitposting. I helped out wherever I could, and really wanted to do what was needed to keep the Fed Ship going in the right direction. In doing so, at some point, I decided I wanted to continue doing so past Tyler's term, and that the best way to do so, would be to run for Party President of the Federalist Party.

So, here we are, now, let's get this show going.

I have a very clear set of goals for this term. They really rely on one-another, as as one succeeds, the others will to. They're also a simple set of goals, but when they work out, they will be very effective at growing our party, and leading us in a positive direction.

1) Media. If you've kept up on the media articles I wrote as VP this term, you'll notice - especially in the two latest articles - I started sculpting an idea of the Feds, one a truly believe in. Throughout the history of the Feds, the best players in the game have been members here. So many top players have graced these party halls, and it's no coincidence. The Fed party has the right atmosphere, and right mood needed to grow new players into tomorrow’s leaders. This message, this idea, needs to be advertised to all. Thus, beyond the usual propaganda and party news pumped out by the media department, this term, I have decided media will also do articles highlighting the Fed culture. This will include pieces on past great, interviews with current members, and introductions to new players. By showing the country that the Federalist Party has a history of greatness, and that greatness is still very much so alive, we will continue to attract both new citizens, as well as players in other parties looking for new opportunities. To head this endeavour, a long time Fed, and close personal friend of mine, will be returning from his sabbatical in the SFP to head the Media Department. He needs no introduction, so I shan't try. His name is Aramec, and he is as excited as I am for this task, and will do an excellent job in this task.

2) Retention and Recruitment. The lifeblood of the Feds has always been new players. Cromstar was a baby once; as was Molly Emma, Greene, Talo, Orik, MrCarey, and Jaden. All these people, greats of both the past and present, were attracted to the Feds for a multitude of reasons, and under our banner, became leaders of this nation. In recent months, retention and recruitment have hit snafus; it is time these snafus were addressed and we get back to bringing in new players, and keeping them here. Our aggressive media policy will help, but we must do more. My first job as Party President will be to speak with my heads of these departments and come up with a surefire plan of improving these departments. One thing that has been working recently, under the eyes of illiguy, has been directly messaging the new players to the country. This isn't a new idea by any means obviously, but what he has done this term, and I will ensure continues under my leadership, is a more personal approach. Instead of a generic mass message, he has taken the time to get to know the new players, and through that, the personal touch, we will continue to recruit today's babies, and turn them into tomorrows leaders.

3) Congress. The Federalist Party has dominated congress for months now, however, complacency is the death of a party, therefore, I am aiming for an ambitious goal, albeit a doable one. Through coordination with the Old Fucks Party as we have done recently, mass messaging, and dominating the media, combined with the recruitment of newer players, I am making it a goal of this term to have 33% (a third) of congress to be Feds. This will include the members of 6th party members we run in exchange for votes. The idea behind this is simple: The Feds do have, and continue to have, the top players in the country under our banner. Therefore, we should strive to get as many of these players as possible onto the national stage. Congress in recent years has become the place where the fate of the country is decided, thus, we must have our players there to weigh in on the key issues facing America.

These three goals seem rather simple, a bit ambitious maybe, but, in achieving them, we will elevate the Federalist Party even further, and show other parties that we are the best, and show the country that to be the best, you need to be Fed.

I look forward to leading our party, and ask for your votes in the primary. I won't let you down. If you have any questions, feel free to post them below. And, expect my initial cabinet as well as an application to join my team soon.

Thank you,

-Tenshibo
