- Were you surprised by the apparent melt down and subsequent impeachment of eCanadian President Bruce Lightninghands?

- Fairly surprised, yea. He seemed to be doing fine during his first week, but then in the last few days it all went off the rails and next thing we knew he was being impeached. Suddenly I was having to get ready to take over, which wasn't the way I expected to take the CP office when I decided to run.

- What steps have been taken so far in your transition from runner up in the CP election to leading eCanada in what seems a very difficult time?

- Making a Cabinet PM to make sure that we were all on the same page and relaying any information about the first week of the term so that anything important that had been ongoing got from the old government to ours. I've also done some greetings and talking with friends and allies to assure them eCanada isn't imploding, which my Cabinet has been helping with.

- What message would you have for eCanadians that might feel confused about recent events happening inside and outside of eCanada?

- Just keep calm and give it a little bit of time. We're working on sorting out all the kinks and getting up to speed and on top of the game. Once we've done that we'll be able to clarify things and erase the confusion surrounding the events that have taken place.

- What will be the aim of your administration once you've settled in?

- First and foremost are avoiding a wipe and turning the tide in the war with the eUK, along with improving relations with close friends and allies who have been great help in our battles against the Brits and who have welcomed me in as eCan's CP despite the circumstances of my taking the seat.

- For eCanadians that perhaps might not know you please give us a synopsis of your time playing eRepublik

- I actually first played the game during V1, but I was a bit young at that time and didn't stick around because I didn't know how to be anything more than a two clicker. I later joined again during V2 and have been around since then. I was in many various parties before joining the MDP, and I had been a member of the TCO from when I joined until its disbandment, after which I eventually joined Cordis Die. I've been here for a lot of stuff and I'm more of an old fart in eCanada than I'd care to admit.

- No CP Medal and no CP gold, yet you seem to be taking on the role as CP as if you had won the general election. What motivates you to do this when some might say thanks but no thanks?

- Honestly I am mad I don't get the shiny trophy, but when it comes down to it eCanada needed to have someone taking over who was calm and collected, especially after the way Bruce left. One of the best things I can do coming into this is be those two things and handle everything rationally. A panicked leader will never have the trust of his people.

- If you could see into the future to the end of your term what do you hope you would be looking back on?

- I’d really just like to see an end to the term where eCanada is in good shape and has recovered swiftly from the impeachment fiasco and hopefully where I'm seen as someone who wasn't that bad of a leader for the runner-up. As long as people think I've done half decent after this term is over, I'll look at it as a success for a month where I only became CP a week or so in.

- Do you believe that you can unite all the party's and Military Units to one or several common purposes given that internal politics in eCanada can get messy?

- I don't think anyone can do such a thing, there will always be division between the Political Parties even if they agree to work together on important issues, like how generally the Parties will put aside their differences during wipes and long wars. Military units are easier as they have far less rivalry and disagreement between one another, they all exist to fight, it's just a matter of getting them fighting for eCanada and the majority of the citizens in eCanadian MU's will be doing that anyways. At that point it becomes more about coordinating their damage together effectively than uniting the MU's.
