[TC] Administrators enable Namechange!

The administrators have opened up another door for eRepublik Citizens with wierd, misspelled or immature names to change, for a small charge of course. The Correspondent have the story!

Starting today the administrators have added a new option in the Edit profile page which is the abillity to change your Name.

Each citizen can now change his in game name in the following conditions:


1. The first time you decide to change your name the Name change price is 5 Gold. If this change is made, during a 3 month period the citizen will not be able to make another name change during that time.

2. After 3 months the next Name change is available for 50 Gold. This is if you are unsatisfied with your new Name. If this change is made, the same rule applies: the name will remain for another 3 months

3. The next changes are available for unlimited times, at the price of 50 Gold, in a 3 month time frame. For the rich players who just likes to have a new title every now and then.

A thing to remember is that if the name you are trying to use appears to be taken by another account there are 2 cases:

1. The name is attached to an existing active citizen,
2. The name is attached to a dead citizen account that cannot be found with the Search option ,but the data base remembers it.

What we here at TC are wondering is simply if you are able to change back to your old name if you are dissatisfied with your new name? This should according to the stated rules above be impossible but it is something that is yet to be found out.

We at TC also want to remind you that you who change your name loose a part of your identity in that change, and it is something to keep in mind.
