Good Afternoon Everyone, Lawrence is here to talk about my Run for Country President on August 5th. Congratulations to everyone elected to Congress this month, I hope I have the pleasure of working with you After the 5th 🙂 Today we are going to talk about me, and what i think it means to be a good CP. The Seven Pillars of Wisdom (that i created)are the things i will strive to be and the skills i will use to be a successful Country President. This article is so you get an insight into me, and an idea of how the pillars will tie into my plans.

Open Invitation!

The race is on! This means i have to assemble a team. This is an Open invitation to anyone in eIreland who is interested in being part of my government. There is a lot you can do without actually being in my cabinet!

7 Pillars of Wisdom

1) Knowledge

The education of the masses ensures the future of and country RL or Erepublik. My hope over the next weeks i will be educating myself everyday thru as many methods as possible so that my CP term can be as functional as possible. One of the things i hope to strive for is an active educational series posted every few days in the eIrish media, as well as more editions to current knowledge bases in eIreland (such as our eUniversity). This calls for 2 ministers under my cabinet, the Ministers of Information and Education. They will ensure the production and distribution of the media. (as well as myself)


2) Power

Power is everything when it comes down to it. But it can come in many forms. This relies on other pillars to be viable. What does it mean to be powerful? In this game it mean military mite! Unfortunately if i become CP i will be maintaining peace within eIreland. The current NAP and my desire to keep our congress are huge considerations i must take. SO how do i make us powerful. My thought is we create food and weapons drives every week and in between we distribute them to citizens of eIreland or even our allies. This can give us power and it doesn't even have to be run by the government, though it will be sponsored by it. This could also mean Weekly strikes as a country.


3)Logic

Sound logic is the perfect tool to rectify any situation. In most cases a good dose of logic can tell you how petty or how serious a situation is or could become. I believe that logic is the one tool that has helped me more then anything in my life. Logic has gotten me out of more situations then i can think of and i it is something i will use to help make my CP term better.


4) Counsel

People seek council for many things. In the case of erepublik seeking council is usually because the individual is seeking knowledge, wanting a second opinion, or looking for help. This is my reason for hopefully having a council within my cabinet. By having advisers at all times it helps rectify any situation much quicker and they will be my primary tool to progress eIreland forward. My hope is to have 3 Advisors as well as a VP in my Council.



5) Discretion

Discretion is the one thing that has kept any of us out of trouble IRL. It should always be used in any situation especially if i become CP. What i mean by discretion is to be cautious about the decisions i make and to be able to look at both sides of a problem.


6) Strategy

Depending on what situations arise if i am elected CP really depends on the influence of having a sound strategy. It's hard for me to say for sure what i will have as a military strategy, but Strategy is just how i put my plan into action. This one is kinda hard to write on without having definitive plans, but without a strategy no one will ever be successful. My strategy is to use these pillars as a bases to any situation i may run into.


7) Transparency

This is the most Important Pillar of them all. What is the point of having a government without it telling it's people whats going on. My hope is that i will be doing articles every two days to keep you guys caught up with the goings on within my government. Transparency is everything.

I hope this articles has helped you get a bit of an insight into what it will be like to have me as your Country President. This race is going to be an exciting one and i'm more excited then ever to be running for office.
