The Italian political situation is in profound evolution, there are many open questions:
1) Election of the new Congress
2) Presentation of the new government
3) Referendum on the permanence in EDEN
We will try to be precise and concise
1)
The new Congress has seen the victory of parties that in previous elections had triumphe
😛the Communist Party and Italian Rebirth.
This may seem strange considering that these two parties had supported the much "reviled" government Prefetto. Yet they have gotten back the favor of the voters. Another peculiarity, which was already seen in the last elections, is that the Communist Party, although has most members of the Italian Rebirth, he got fewer votes than the latter party. The Congress consists of a mix of players young and old.
2)
After the approval of the second impeachment to the Government Prefetto, this time unanimously approved, was elected the government Olivaf

The referendum on the permanence in EDEN was in the government's program Olivaf since he presented himself for election, losing in the presence of Prefetto.
Now that the impeachment has given Olivaf the burden and the honor of governing, he has kept his promise and put the Italian people (and Italians with foreign citizenship) the referendum about the permanence in the alliance.

The Government has not currently proposed an alternative alliance.

La situazione politica italiana è in profonda evoluzione, molte sono le questioni aperte:
1) Elezione del nuovo congresso
2) Presentazione del nuovo Governo
3) Referendum sulla permanenza in EDEN
Cercheremo di essere precisi e coincisi
1)
Il nuovo congresso ha visto la vittoria dei partiti che già nelle scorse elezioni avevano trionfato: Partito Comunista e Rinascita Italiana.
Ciò potrebbe sembrare strano considerato che questi due partiti avevano sostenuto il tanto "vituperato" governo Prefetto. Eppure, essi hanno ottenuto di nuovo il favore degli elettori. Altra particolarità, che si era già vista nelle scorse elezioni, è che il Partito Comunista, pur avendo più tesserati di Rinascita Italiana, ha ottenuto meno voti di quest'ultimo partito. Il congresso è composto da un mix di player giovani ed anziani.

Dopo l'approvazione del secondo impeachment al Governo Prefetto, questa volta approvato all'unanimità, è stato eletto il Governo Olivaf

Il referendum sulla permanenza in EDEN era nel programma del Governo Olivaf fin da quando egli si presentò alle elezioni, perdendo al cospetto di Prefetto.
Ora che l'impeachment ha dato ad Olivaf l'onere e l'onore di governare, egli ha mantenuto la promessa ed ha posto al popolo italiano (ed agli italiani con cittadinanza straniera) il referendum circa la permanenza nell'alleanza.
In questo articolo potete verificare in tempo reale l'evoluzione della consultazione referendaria. Attualmente (ore 14.20 del giorno 1823) la situazione è la seguente:
Rimanere in EDEN: circa il 60%
Lasciare EDEN: circa il 40%
Il Governo non ha attualmente proposto una alleanza alternativa.

In my opinion, this government have only a priority: the referendum about the permanence in EDEN. And, also, it has only 10 days of work. I don't want another failure because the time is restricted. So, I think is better wait after 5 of december, and talk about Treaty with new government.

Nice analysis, as always, thing are made in a hurry in eItaly, btw this decision is so much more delicate...
I hope more nations start to rethink the EDEN alliance, especially us in the smaller not so important member nations. Voted and shouted.
The analysis shows some good points, but I have friends in eSwiss, also if we are on different sides now, and I want to let them know that the actual governement has given no chance to the people to be informed impartially about remaining or not in Eden, in fact the article showed up as a surprise, not with a fixed date as it should be, to help people make an informed idea about a such important matter.
Another shameful behaviour that this governement has shown is that in the article of so called "referendum" the actual CP (not the elected one Prefetto, which resigned) had shown his own idea in the article, almost inviting players, from an official newspaper, to choose to leave allies.
You maybe will remember the crew that is now in power: mappina and oivalf, those that, during the first term of Monsieur Guillontine, when we were allies, agreed with Slovenia to steal a region to Switzerland.
I completely agree with FAE about a treaty. The actual governement is completely unreliable. Wait some days: this will be helpful 🙂

1)Technically, Oivalf, the ACTUAL cp has been elected, he was the one with the majority of votes after Prefetto. Due to the not clear reasons, Prefetto resigned, and if a country cannot be controlled by a CP it's the rule to impeach him and give the control to the second most voted person. SO Oivalf has been elected.
2)The referendum is an informative one, in order for the govt to understand the feelings of the people.
The answer of the referendum wouldn't have been a final decision,
but just an advice for this govmt and the next one.
3) The country is not eSwiss but eSwitzerland, please, if you decide to write in english, do it in a proper one!
Is like calling our country eItalian instead of eItaly.
2Bis) Referendum is a way of democracy to ask to people their ideas again a certain statement. Why you consider it a "shameful behaviour"? Is it shameful to express democracy instead of taking decision in a dictatorial way?

I want to remember something important, beyond the legitimate comment of @Fanaxidel and equally legitimate response of @giulios123: as per article of Italian CP, the will of the people shall be rectified by Congress.
