[RN] Interview with Evil Doctor

Day 3,005, 03:55 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by The Royal Navy

Greetings shipmates. Welcome back to this series of interviews with leading figures in the Royal Navy MU.

Following on from the unadulterated success of last week’s interview with RN hero Mick Cain, it’s time for another one. This time it’s with current RN Commander Evil Doctor, and I’d better be careful, as not only does he run the MU, he’s also my boss at the RN supply company.

Name, rank, regiment
Evil Doctor. Titan**. Reg 4.

How’s it going?
Busy with real life stuff atm but over all am good thx. How about yourself ?
Not bad. Ticking along 🙂

First of all, tell us a little bit about your eRep self…
Well if I start from the beginning: I joined the game from a USA friend who already played eRep, so i started off over there. Afterwards I came to the eUK and joined Legion and then ofc the RN after Legion was over.

How long have you been in the RN? What does the MU mean to you?
LOL damn if I can remember when I got here - been a few years tho. RN is home I’ll never leave. It’s always had great players to get on with here and always will do.

You are the RN Commander. What does that mean?
Well I would say what Mick said in his interview as he more or less put it in a nutshell. The only other side is keeping up to date on what’s going on in eUK, and not just the latest MOD orders cos you will always get some sailors asking you these questions. Then ofc making sure you’ve got an active team to chip in when you cannot be around so the MU runs smoothly.

You're also an RN supplier (and my boss). What does that mean, and doesn't it cost you a fortune?
RN supply companies provide the weapons and food used to supply the MU, especially for Strike Sunday.
A RN supplier is a person in the MU that offers 10cc per day and 84 q7 tanks per week to RN members who work for the company. The cost of being a RN supplier is to be able to do it you need a lot of rubber plantations (which don’t come cheap). Then ofc if the country is wiped or almost wiped then you are making a loss in q7 (esp when you are fighting as well).

Why should people join the Royal Navy?
Royal Navy is a fantastic MU to join. We offer rewards, have our Sunday Strikes where all in the MU can join in, we help out players who need it and we are one if not the best MU for new players to join.
Definitely THE best MU for new players 🙂

What makes a good sailor?
Someone who is happy and enjoying what they’re doing in eRep. Also what makes a good sailor is a person who is willing to learn, join in with others and wants to be able to help out anyway they can. You’re a good example Mike - when we needed you now you’re doing a great job at it 🙂
Glad to help!

Who’s your RN hero, and why?
Goes without saying that would be the one and only Mick Cain. Always helping, always helpful, would do anything he could to help you out. Total great guy.

Sum up the Royal Navy MU in ten words or fewer…
Best MU on the seven seas.

Do you get seasick?
Nope, far too busy getting drunk to ever get seasick 😉

Parting shot…
A big thankyou to all past and present RN players and to those also that have made this game worthwhile to play.

Thanks for your time ED - much appreciated
Hope that’s OK 🙂

Tune in next time for the next interview.
