[POTUS] State of the Union - Day 2437

Those forum issues really threw off the groove!

Mood Music: Because reasons

It’s been a busy week at the White House. The State Department and National Security Council in particular have had to remain focused as the situation developed around the eGlobe. The whole crew has done an outstanding job and our nation has a great position to show for it.

We had the great pleasure of welcoming Latvia into the Pacifica family. When discussions began about their application, it didn’t take long for me to get pretty excited about it. They are an outstanding group to work with, and I think they’ll be a great asset to Pacifica and to the eUS. All of us at the White House and in Pacifica HQ look forward to the progression of this new partnership.

After some shaky operations in France, we are a few hours away from closing out the war there, with bonuses in hand. America does not back down from a challenge, and we were able to find a suitable solution to the new challenges presented across the Atlantic. Our bonus regions there will remain strongly in our hands moving forward for the rest of the term and beyond.

It’s probably apparent to you all that we are in the process of regaining our Japanese bonus regions as well. The initial battle was expectedly difficult with a 4 billion defense shield to tear down. With that out of the way, it should be a fairly simple reconciliation of another war and another step in the 100/100 bonus track.

The final piece of the bonus puzzle is Cuba. We’ve spent the better part of the month repairing and strengthening our relations with our newest neighbor, and the release of Las Villas a couple of days ago was part of that to allow them a larger Congress. We will be recapturing the region in the next couple of days, thus completing Food and Weapons bonuses for the foreseeable future.

Even with all that focus on our bonus, we’ve been providing much needed assistance to our Bros to the south. Mexico recently described us as their greatest ally, and I fully intend to make sure we live up to that description! We shared a great victory today in Southeast of Mexico to secure their nation a Congress this month. The eUS will continue to provide our assistance in their fight for liberation.

The housing market is now in effect and many people still aren’t sure what it all means. I personally purchased a Q2 factory, which I’m sure I’ll regret. Our Department of Education is working out the details of how to best make use of this industry for the average player and will be releasing that information as soon as possible.

With nearly three-fifths of my term gone, it’s time to start looking ahead at what is to come. In a recent interview with SColbert, I expressed my lack of a decision about a second term. I’d like to officially announce that the decision has arrived, and I will be seeking a second term as the President of these eUnited States. While things certainly haven’t gone perfectly, I feel that my team and I have stepped up to every challenge as best we could and have delivered what needed to be done. I have some changes planned in the cabinet for next month, but my commitment to a strong, open, and great eAmerica will remain the same. More will come about this in the coming days.

Remember to watch for the next WHPR in the next couple of days from our outstanding media department!

Your questions are welcome in the comments. I’ll be doing my best to answer quickly.

Dio bless you, and Dio bless the eUnited States of America.
