[PotUS] Some Updates and Information

Day 2,182, 16:51 Published in USA USA by Azazel Romanov

Day four of my term, and things are off to an interesting start, to say the least. I have several items I want to touch on, clarify, and highlight. These range from new domestic initiatives to some of our activities abroad. I know some people have been expecting to hear from me, and I am staying committed to informing the masses about our plans and initiatives. Like I said several months ago, you won't be left in the dark. Let’s dive in.

Domestic Programs

There are two big notes I want to make, one you have already seen and the other that is going to be implemented today. The first of which is the revival of the Moving Cost Program for the Department of Interior. This is mostly directed towards players wanting to move back to the country or be mobile for important battles abroad. You can find all the information on this program here. I hope many players soon benefit from this program.

Our second domestic item is the implementation of Human Services. We have prepared the universal government application that will be administered by this department. You will remember a universal app being run by media previously, this simply fully devotes the duty to Human Services now. Want a government job? Well, look no further. Apply Now! We’re looking for new ambassadors, workers, writers, and people interested in helping. Human Services will take your application and direct you to the right place. This form will also be promoted in other government publications.

We're also seeing some more new things coming for Human Services and Education, so stay tuned. I said I'd commit to domestic programs, and I have no plans to change course in that area. Once again, Apply and serve! And be sure to learn more about the Moving Cost Program!

Spain in Maine Fans Portuguese Flame

A lot of people might be wondering a bit about this. Our DoD orders had us fighting for Spain against Portugal, and we had a miscommunication internally that was quickly fixed. But many still wonder, why Portugal? I’ve seen a few comment “betrayal” and arguing we are changing course, but to be honest, this isn’t a big deviation from our current path. In fact, I’m simply committing more to our current course.

Some background on this: Portugal is a very close friend of CUA, a group of countries currently occupying Peru, Chile, Brazil, and often Paraguay as well. I happen to still consider these countries friends of the eUS. Portugal itself recently occupied a former CoT member, Japan, and avoided helping us in our earlier war with TWO. I still have memories of Portuguese cooperation with the PTO movement. To put it simply, they are not and have not been considered a friend of the US, nor is CUA. I am going to continue to support our South American friends in their fight, and I will extend our support to Spain to further fight against CUA’s expansion. Now a bit about Maine.

According to our NAP, we do not get this region back unless further negotiated, which has not yet occurred. A lot of foreign fighters have been putting damage into the battle for the US along with some rogue elements in our country. I want the US to remain committed to its agreement with Spain and Poland, and I fully intend to do so. Which is why I ask all people to fight FOR SPAIN IN MAINE. Let’s do the honorable thing and stand by our word and come together on something highly important to our country: our country itself. The terms of the treaty were clearly laid out by President Frost.. I am going to continue honoring it and building upon it. Have some faith in me and our country.
I knew this would be an interesting month, and things are still developing around the world. We might hit some bumps in the road and have a few misunderstandings, but I’m pushing forward on what I believe is best. If you have any concerns, comments, or something you want to share, please don’t hesitate. I’m almost always open to talk and debate ideas. I look forward to hearing from you, and I know the world is watching as well.
