I spent two week with the Cockers, and it was generally a good time. They are near exclusively an in game unit, with very limited IRC activity. This being a change for me, I actually found it really refreshing. Popping in to eRep, checking the shout feed, throwing some food or tanks to one of the newer guys, and then dropping my damage. It was, in a lot of ways, reminiscent of the early days for me when I didn't have any sort of responsibilities in the game...and that was nice for a couple of weeks.

C4 is definitely a good place for people to hang out and do their clicking if they just want to focus on getting their fights in with a group of guys who are helpful and make decent conversation in their shout feed.

My time in SHIELD was fun, I enjoyed getting to know a swath of players I don't usually get to interact with. I can't comment on their forum, as I still have about 24 years left on my ban on the Fed Forum (For the reason : Being Pfeiffer), but their IRC room has solid people to chat with, I especially enjoyed getting to talk to stephen s and Mourning Star, and I intend to pop into the room regularly until Greene has another fit and I get banned again. 😃

I would strongly suggest SHIELD for anyone new to the Federalist Party, being their official Military Unit. Non-Fed members are welcome, obviously, but I've always personally found that when a unit is tied to a party there is always a bit of an invisible wall between those in the party and those who are not. This isn't intentional or due to anything their leadership does, but is just sort of how things play out. Strong use of the shout feed and helpful officers definitely give SHIELD a solid standing in my book.



USWP Update

After our strong showing in the Congressional Elections, we've chosen to endorse current President and former USWP President Wild Owl for a second term.

We look forward to supporting him for the coming month.

I'm back to posting on the Party Shout Feed to give some food to our younger party members...I slacked off on that for a while cause life and whatnot...but we're back in business. Also remember to check the forum and sign up for Fast Forward for additional food and tanks.



Personal Thoughts

Working on stuff. It definitely isn't all they make it out to be when you're a kid. Definitely tired.
