eCommunism is not a totalitarian dictatorship, nor is it a continuation of certain real life current and past regimes, whether generally good or bad. It is however a proletarian dictatorship (still democratic but power is vested in those who produce, not those who own), that is to say that it's the overthrow of the capital classes. Those that run the state and economy with nothing but capital to validate their positions. Consensus and majority support is everything and it should be earned not bought.
We work towards the instatement of a fair and just society run by the workers for the workers. In which the notion of individual profit is eradicated and replaced with the ideals of collective and national betterment, where those that make the goods get 100% of their efforts rewarded. Where every citizen has an equal say and ability to decide the eUK’s future, not just the few rich cliques.
Sounds almost utopian doesn't it? Well it is far more achievable than you might think. And the PCP works towards this goal everyday. Everyone of us is an eWorker and we all stand to benefit from a socialist economy. From the older players who will finally be paid fairly for their dedication to the newest members who we give honest, sincere and productive help to on a regular basis,
We should all share equally in the spoils of our hard work rather than a few people make a profit from it.
You've never had less of a reason to say "oh i believe the ideals of (e)communism are good, but it can't work" It can in the New World and with your help it will. eWorkers of the New World Unite!

We're a friendly bunch and try to have good relations with parties that respect us and we respect individuals therefore we like to keep them informed rather than in the dark.

As I replied to ayame's delightful PM, this is not TUP orientated. It is me who dislikes communism and what it stands for. Looking through history it has brought nothing but misery to people who have been forced into it. Don't give me that old rubbish that it is different in the game, you got some dude going around with Stalin as his avatar. Most disrespectful if you ask me.

As I have been a member of such an organization in real life I do believe that the capitalist system is a very bad system. To overthrow the capitalist classes I do agree, but proletarian dictatorship means a lot more. Claiming to be right.
Ruling against a majority instead of having a majority by informing all. First goal must be, getting a majority and even when you have that giving the most rights to minorities.
Anyways, I do hope PCP will be democratic, emancipatory and successful in rights for the workers.
Niemand, by Proletarian Dictatorship i'm referring to the power being vested in those who produce and work rather than those who own. I am not in any way implying that we are a totalitarian party, clearly we are an incredibly democratic one. So much so that we don't have a Party President, we have a spokesman, we vote on almost everything and the spokesman respects the wishes of the majority.

We participate in the electoral process and don't claim any extra special power, we understand that the only way to be successful is to put our arguments forward and to act according to our own principles.
Those principles are equality, democracy, cooperation and voluntary collectivism.
The only way we can ever succeed is by spreading understanding and showing how such a system can benefit everyone if we do band together to mutually benefit. Rather than to stay as wage slaves to the elites

After a lenghty discussion with Ayame I want to apologise to this parties members for saying the party sucks. It doesn't. Only the idiot who has a Stalin avatar gives the party a bad name and should change it.
Working for someone else is a tiny minority of the game these days. Ironically the richest players make 90% of their money without having anyone work but themselves 🙂
Oh I agree Iain things did used to be a lot worse and far more exploitative but there is no denying that a player is still better off working in a commune and receiving the end product than they are getting paid.
There's a reason nearly every party, MU and govt. Took the commune idea onboard. And still even now the PCP communes give a better deal than nearly every other commune system.

You need to travel brother, and visit former communist countries. If you were to visit for instance any of the former Jugoslav countries and spoke to any of the ethnicities (mostly over the age of 35) the majority wish it was back to Marshal Tito's time. Capitalism has failed as can be seen by the shit the world has been in for the last 4 years.

Nikola, maybe you should travel to south Korea and ask the poor people if the are happy while they are starving to death, ask the poor citizens of Syria if thay are happy while they are being bombed by another despot leader, ask the east Germans if they would like to turn back the clock. Orinocco, I'm pretty sure you mean North Korea, which has been shunned and only has trade links with China, alongside a very harsh regime. The only true communists in Syria are no doubt fighting for the Free Syrian Army as Assad is no more than a brutal tyrant. And as for East Germans you should search about Ostalgia, it's a play on the word Nostalgia and East in German, Many older East Germans want a return to a more socialist economy, Die Linke are incredibly popular there too.
lol. Syria communist. Orinocco I have lived in the Far East, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe in addition to visiting 35 countries, to be honest I am sick of travelling. I will say that there are certain forms of communism that have proved they do not work but just take a look at many inner cities and rural communities in the UK and tell me capitalism is working... Whilst I wouldn't like to be a working class North Korean I would have liked to have experienced Tito's reign first hand.

Good for you. I'm happy being a capitalist Brit. Sorry but I think you are a monrity here. I've travelled quite a bit myself and most countries are happy to live under their government. You talk about the older generations going back to what it was. Hell, if that's the case I think most countries would go back to when thier countries ruled the known world. Turks (ottoman), Egyptians, Italians (Romans), french ( napoleonic), UK ( British empire), Germans ( nazi's) and more. All barbaric.
True sam, we don't live in a perfect world by any means, however eRep isn't the real world and we all have the same needs and ability here. The ideals have less problems in being implemented in the New World and that's what we're all about... eRep's New World!

Sorry to bring this back to the game, but how exactly are you going to do any of this stuff? Saying you are going to make everyone equal is all well and good, but you can't exactly redistribute or nationalise our property by force like RL communists.
Danie, we don't want to force nationalise anything. We do these things as a party, we have our own Commune system and will always look to expand it. We distribute 100% of all products produced in our commune to everyone who works in them.
It doesn't need implementing, we already have! This is really just one part of what we offer, the fact we are purely democratic means that our policies reflect the wishes and ideas of our members.
Then how will the "notion of individual profit [be] eradicated"? Higher taxes?
There's many ways Danie, for instance expanding the availability of government and military communes, ensuring that these communes are run with total fairness in mind and that no productivity is taken from those working within them without their Consent.
The fact that these well run and fair communes are the best option available would mean that it would be impossible for anyone to offer such a good deal and therefore employ people to make a profit off.
