Elect Custer as President!
He’ll bomb Serbia back to the Stone Age



That’s right. You’ve heard me say this for five years or so-- now is the time, and I’m just the guy to do it. Breaks the Asteria/LETO NAP? Wrecks a few MPPS? You betchum, Red Ryder. First day on the job, we Airstrike right into the heart of Serbia, establish a beachhead, and wreck the place. And keep it wrecked. That’s Promise Number One. The Big One. The Mother of All Big ones… Custer’s MOAB, right up Serbia’s @ss.

On the home front? Sure..

We merge, not only all USAF branches into one, but every single MU in the country-- including the JCS Mil, Seal Team 6, EZCompany, SHIELD-- all of ‘em. One Big Fat American MU. Oh, don't worry about your individual MU’s identity-- that’s what Regiments are for.
This will be a huge step toward consolidating resources and firepower, reducing redundancy and inefficiency, and a big first step toward restoring the sense of Community that’s been lost as we’ve divided ourselves against each other.



So.. what happens to all these noobs when Plato and the Dept of Interior and all these other groups stop throwing gold and food and tanks at them? They’re left with the disturbing reality that eRep sucks-- and there’s CRAP for Community to hold their interest. It’s no secret that the game is bleeding players at an alarming rate. This should not be happening in America. We’re supposed to be better than that.
New Cabinet Department-- and, no, not a Department of Fun. A Department of Community Affairs. Let’s do some concerted brainstorming. What parts of “the old game” can be revived? What does this new generation of players identify with, and can we develop programs that’ll tap into their interests? Determine just what elements constitute “community” in the new players’ real world, and make that happen here, in game and in meta-game.



Oh, and let us not forget my personal pet project.. besides killin’ Serbs with great abandon. You might be aware of the OhFU SCAM Program, in which we collect Donations to bestow on a returning player who finds him/herself unable to do the basic daily clicks.. usually because they gave away all their stuff when they quit. We set them up with the ability to provide their own Food and decent Training, so they can at least restart the game as well off as a level 21 new player.
I’d like to expand the SCAM to a national level-- and we will do this on the Party level even if I’m not elected President-- to become a network of older players, Senior Citizens, who can work toward improving life in America in many ways. We’ve been around, we know what’s what. We should be leading America not only in same-old same-old politics but in rebuilding the aforementioned Community of players.




Now, that was fun, wasn’t it?
I hope it gave you something to think about.
While bombing Serbia back to the Stone Age does sound like fun, it probably doesn’t make sense and ain’t gonna happen for reasons I can’t possibly understand. Just let me get my hands on The Button and we’ll see what doesn’t make sense.

But except for that Bombing/Stone Age thing, there’s a serious message worked into the rest.
I said it on eNPR and I’ll say it again, to paraphrase Bill Clinton--
Now look at the two real candidates for President.
Which one do you think is, maybe, a Community Builder?
