"Oboacer PnPP Manifesto: External Relations"

Day 2,820, 11:42 Published in New Zealand New Zealand by Oboacer

Greetings PnPP Members and fellow eKiwis,

As I have stated since I began this process, over the coming days I would be releasing articles that outline my vision for the PnPP and how I want to move this great party forward!

I'm also very proud to say that as I write this article the PnPP has moved up to become the #2 party in eNZ! Thank you to all the new members who joined us and the old who have rejoined us for making this possible..

So I will now outline my plans for how the PnPP will work with the other parties of eNZ and the role I hope to see it play in the wider eNZ political community.

If the PnPP is going to be successful then it needs to seek engagement with all the major political parties of NZ. In this case I'm speaking of the UIS, Socialists, Black Party and Maori Party. These are the principle parties that work together to ensure not only that we have a region to call home but that the name of NZ is not forgotten.

Our history has always been about ensuring cooperation among the parties and making sure that our politics remain civil but also active and engaged. If elected Party President, I will seek to accomplish a few goals

Communication
-I will institute a policy of communication with the other party presidents to ensure that there is no misunderstanding and all sides can cooperate on making NZ work

Presidential Elections
-I will seek to ensure that the PnPP runs a candidate in most elections, unless we find agreement with another party (like the JW AGAT PARTY)where we will support.
-It must be understood that we will ensure there is always a credible alternative run, especially in the event the current CP is forced to step back due to RL issues

Congressional Elections
-I will speak with the other parties to see if it will be possible to spread out to possibly two regions for Congressional elections, so that we can increase the number of Congressmen for all parties.
-While we do rent these regions, it should not stop us from seeking to have 2 for the elections and then allowing them to return to rental agreements after.

NZ Dictatorship
-This will be the most contentious issue, as I know many in the PnPP would like to see it either end and some semblance of democracy restored.
-I will speak with the other party leaders about possibly lifting the dictatorship (which it must be understood is for stability reasons) and restoring a semblance of democracy.
-I may seek to restore democracy (Congress / CP control) and then have the dictator option in the event we need to return due to weak leadership
-But I'm committed to raising this issue with the other parties and putting forward the idea that democracy should be restored (may even function better with a small Congress (10) and a active CP.

What I'm seeking to emphasis in this article is that the PnPP will return to being an active player in NZ politics and its views/members concerns will be relayed to the other parties.

They need to understand that our growth is not merely because of a renewed interest in the PnPP but it is because NZ has stagnated and the people, new members and old, are looking to see a revived activity in NZ. This what the PnPP wants the other parties to see.

This is why if elected Party President I will not only seek to ensure constant communication between the parties but I will work tirelessly to make sure cordial and friendly relations remain so that politics, while competitive, can remain fun.

Cheers,
Oboacer,
PnPP Secretary General
