[Nyx4CP or Not] Straight Shooter

Ah that time of the erep where you have to make the choice of being either nice or honest. Luckily I never had a problem choosing either of the two.

It is amusing that I have to poke people to make them say what they really think. The coldness is very palpable.

Often times we forget that this is a game and get so immersed in useless politics and procedures that people just stop having fun.

A few concerns thankfully were raised in my previous article, because I should know what kind of resistance I will be dealing with when I become CP 😛

How many days/months/years/decades more does Ireland need to go to a war? Last I checked this is erepublik, everyone has the profile of warrior pretty much.


Not having war for an abnormal amount of time is going to make people leave. I would like to think I am not really suggesting something wildly bizarre here. I am just reiterating the obvious.

When I came to Ireland… I asked people to state the problems Ireland had.
The main problems pointed out were:

1. Lack of population
2. Lack of activity when it comes to proper war

When I see at least one of these issues not being addressed, I haven’t voted for people. Doesn’t matter how long you are here or how old you are. I believe in solving the main problems first and get it out of the way, especially when it is possible and so crucial.


Look around and see how many countries are having wars. What sort of a weak image are we projecting to the world when we are so scared of having a war? I’d rather take a shot and fail than EVER project such an image. EVER!
Failures will teach you way more about yourself than you will know otherwise. You learn from it. I am an entrepreneur in RL. We take risks, the stakes are higher, and the stakes are real. This is a game. Why are people so risk averse in a silly game?


When is this status-quo ever going to end? Waiting for the “ideal” time for a war.

But let’s be honest war was never the agenda this month. If I am going to war, I will start the prep from Day 1.

Will the conditions and circumstances of erepublik change? They always change.

 Am I going to be a victim of the circumstances and prepare when conditions favor me?

Or Am I going to change myself in a way I can adapt to different circumstances? To be or not to be… is always the question.

And Chile might have lost that AS but they have balls. That respect is due for Chile.

What is that ridiculous question then about if I am prepared of not for CP? If you all will settle for peace, calm and internal bickering anyone can do that. Even Krakk can do that. Vote for him.

I am glad I did jump before “time”. I could effectively as a result do more damage control (ironic phrase on erep)

It is an uphill battle for me to win this election. But I hope people can see what I am going for here. Fear of failure will not stop me. If I can’t be that sort of a leader, I would never step up in the first place.

I considered myself to be Irish right from the day 1 and will remain Irish until I leave. I don’t step up unless I know for sure that I could create a positive and major difference to the place. Yes there are other people in line for CP but my flaw is that I don’t really adhere to rules of entitlement.


My focus is always on Ireland, a nation, a team, a unit. Not individual ego. I can’t emphasize enough this point “IRELAND OVER PERSONAL POLITICS”. That is my ethics.

Would you call that loyalty? Or perhaps integrity? I shall just call it rising above petty game politics. Loyalty, Integrity are words too lofty and emotions too undeserving for a game. I don’t use these words lightly.
Anyway, I can’t take it anymore to go one more month without proper activity. I’m not the type to sit and watch. I have given it enough time, more time than necessary.

I went through the usual rigmarole of volunteering twice initially this month for FA and no response from CP. Very apropos eh? since subtlety is my strongest suite when it comes to my ability to connect with people internationally.

Faik buddy, I have stopped Hanibal LA from PTO’ing ePakistan. Don’t think I have the IQ of Krakk. Took me five minutes to realize what you were upto and get your “life history”, biography and autobiography from Albania.

I am not going to take any actions as I am not the CP. I won’t intervene.

But friend, my advice is that you leave before I paste hilarious screenshots and logs including that Chinese BS story of yours lion, turtle and guerrilla lol and how Atracurium is your great fan.


I don’t need your multi money, schemes and scams. I am not desperate. I am a straight shooter. Cutting corners are for people with low self-esteem.
