[NAZ4POTUS] Governance, Some Assembly Required

Day 2,078, 16:55 Published in USA USA by Azazel Romanov

Now for my final (possibly) article for this campaign, it falls upon me to announce the rest of the team working with me should I be elected. You already know my Vice President, rainy sunday, and my Chief of Staff, Josh Frost. I can't promise to wow you with who I've picked, I made calls upon who I work best with along with who I think works best. It takes time to come up with a team and government, and although I've added a lot of new members, I have hopefully kept on some hands that will ensure a good mix of experienced and fresh voices. Enough with the introduction, time to make a glorified list.

Vice President

Rainy Sunday

Chief of Staff

Josh Frost

Secretary of State

I have a lot of experience with foreign affairs, but I'll still need support in keeping everything in line. State is something I believe requires a little bit more continuity in order to ensure relationships are intact and we move forward with clear intentions. For this reason, I have chosen Derphoof to remain in his post as Secretary of State.

He has put in the activity and the interest required to be a successful diplomat, and I have worked with him for several months, including when he was working for me. Together we can be sure to keep an eye on all our allies and strengthen our involvement abroad. I will work closely with him to improve our image abroad and keep contact with all corners of the world.

Secretary of Defense

Given the focus on USAF lately, I wanted someone in charge that cares about dealing with the issues and working with the branches. I was impressed deeply with his continuing work as a deputy this term and know he is fit to take a step up, which is why I have picked dmjohnston to be the next Secretary of Defense.

I must admit I do not have a previous working relationship with him and didn't know his name before being put into Defense, but he quickly made a show to improve the DoD alongside others in the team. I want to give dmjohnston a shot to prove himself further and work with me and USAF COs to fix the problems of communication and coordination, as well as address new issues like updates to the combat module.

NSC Advisor

I know this position has been merged into the DoD lately, but I felt a need to boost it back up a bit given it's importance now. I have desired to improve coordination and increase communication and input from the side of NSC, and have assembled a group in the hopes of working on that. But to take the lead among this group, I have selected Lemon Vodka to return as NSC Advisor.

I had previously worked closely with Lemon Vodka under Artela's administration and know he has to intelligence to return to this position and help me out. Given the importance, I must also say that his team will include The Mike, AlexJ1890, and DeepChill to assist him. It is my hope that the mix of USAF and independent experience will provide NSC more broad representation, though I will do all I can to personally communicate with MUs along with Lemon Vodka and the NSC.

Secretary of the Interior

Interior is a Department that has a lot of busy work and not always a lot of glory. Recently they have improved performance, launched new programs, and discussed the implementation of new proposals. Not wanting to change the pace and fix what isn't broken, irule777 will be re-joining me as Secretary of the Interior

I have had conversations with irule777 about plans for Interior and came away impressed with his interest and ideas to improve an often forgotten or side-lined department. Interior provides valuable services to the country, and I'd like to see them do more, and I know irule is the right person to continue on the right course.

Secretary of Education

Another Department down the chain and overlooked often due to foreign affairs and military issues is Education. I want to change this and increase its work alongside Interior and Media, and to do this I needed someone already involved and prepared to do more, which is why I have decide to make SColbert the next Secretary of Education.

After fully speaking to SColbert about my intentions for Education, he proposed more, and I look forward to working closer with SColbert and the Education staff to strengthen what already exists and improve upon the department with new ideas and perhaps a revival of old. I know SColbert will provide meaningful input and direction for Education, and want to help him accomplish that.

Secretary of Media

The Ministry of Propaganda needs someone good at the job. This was my first job on the national scene and I know the work that goes into maintaining the official public face of the Executive's plans and operations. For this, I am happy to announce that Chief White Bull will be back to work as Secretary of Media.

He is perhaps the one person I am happy to admit is better at this job than I was. He has promised to get the WHPR and eNPR up and running for my administration, and I know he will not disappoint me. Chief will whip the media staff and get them to work hard to improve my administration's image and take blows when things don't go according to plan.

Department of Homeland Security

I am happy to announce first that this position is dying, if not during my term then shortly after. Regardless of your doubts, it appears unity is coming to a close as a chapter in our election history. The PTO at current is dying, and lacks the strength it did in the past. It appears this run though that we are going to have in-game elections for CP, but I still desire ATO efforts to be coordinated this month, and I know kody5 is the man to finish the job as Secretary of DHS.

Kody5 has remained in this position longer and performed better than I would have expected, and I know he desires to move on to new opportunities as much as others have wanted unity to die. He will be there to finish the job and coordinate our ATO in the next few elections. I trust him, and know he will not let me down.

The Advisors

Though I won't be including individual pictures in this section, I figured I should let you know those joining on as the people who will yell at me when I mess up and give my input upon my decisions in the hopes of improving them. We gain more from past experiences, and right or wrong, it is good to include those who have experienced them. This list may not be complete or completely accurate, but here's who I intend to include so far.

Capital Enforcer: John Largo
Secretary of Swag: Tenshibo
The Hatchet: Israel Stevens
Jack-of-all-Trades: Molly Emma
Great Ape: Colin Lantrip
Shogun 1: Vanek26
Shogun 2: n0s3

I had desired to post up deputies and other positions as well, but the list isn't 100% complete. I assure you I have sought out new faces and experienced players to fill out roles throughout the departments. Like I said, I don't pick spots to ensure greater support, I pick them based upon who I want to work for me, and who I think will do well in the job. If you have any questions relating to my cabinet, I will be glad to answer them.
