"TBH honest my view of France hasn't been stellar over the years of my ins and outs of being in power. I've been met with ignorance and or inactivity. In the same breathe I understand France's old dilemma of not being on the map often in the past creating mistrust and disorganization.
Not many wanted to sacrifice what they had to fight for France. In the end it has made you stronger like the smelting of iron to make steel.
I haven't had much as far as talks go with French govt. It should have been more so alot of that is on me. I want good relations with France"

".Yeah I knew that was coming. Any other time I would have had France's back as I had many times in the past for what I could give.
As many did with the release of the dictatorship mechanic and as leader I tried to cook up something different in the panic that ensued.
The goal was to unify a army of soldiers that would protect each of our nations from outside PTO Dictatorship within the Aurora alliance. I had actually asked France to join.
There was a clause that said you had to NE whoever NE'd one of the members of Aurora UK-Ireland-Canada. When it came down to it I wasn't going to NE France over Uk and the Aurora alliance died.
So in the end we broke our word to our new allies because we weren't willing to trade France for UK. While that happened we also looked weak to France by not fully supporting there war efforts. I made the call to stay neutral during the UK-France conflict somewhat keeping our word until we could remove ourselves from any connection to UK.
It was all crap timing and if I had a do over I'd have been right behind you guys not trying to build anything with UK as you guys hate each other. Stick with the proven ally. Which I plan to do in the future."
