[MoRC] The Basics of eRepublik (English version)

Day 2,685, 04:50 Published in Netherlands Netherlands by SO_HelpdeskNL

eRepublik is a game with a lot of different aspects. You can fight for your country, earn a lot of money, convince others in congress and write articles for your own newspaper. So in general there are four different modules: The military module, The economy module, The politics module and The media module. In this article, we will focus on the military and economy module which are the most important ones and need attention everyday in your elife.
You probably started today with the game, and you don’t really have an idea what eRepublik exactly is. The basics of the game are quite simple:
*Work
*Train
*Fight

By working you earn, of course, money. By training you gain strength. The most important rule of eRepublik: Strenght is more important than Experience. This means training is very important.

Working
At the beginning its smart to work and train every day. In the begining of the game, the work page may be confusing. Or you don’t know how to work at all. Normaly on the main page there is a “Daily tasks” thing which links you to the work page. There also is a blue button which links you to the work page on top op every page (Red circle in image below).

The red circle is the button which you must click to go the the work- and trainpage.
The orange circle shows a checkmark, which means you already worked that day and you have to wait till the next day to work again. If you haven’t worked that day, there is a “work” button there.
To Train you must click on the tab with the white building (Green circle).

Training
Then you will go to the training page, which works like this:

The orange circle shows where you have to train.
The yellow circle shows all information about that kind of training. (First one is Free and you earn 5 strenght)
The blue circle shown a icon, if that icon is black you should click on ‘train’. Now the icon is green, and that means that you already trained today.

If you work in 1 factory or train in 1 facility you loose 10 energy. With the money you earn you can buy food and weapons on the market.
If you have worked and trained you must go back to the homepage. There you will see this:

Click on “get reward” and you will get a bonus of 1 strength and 1 experience point. If you do this 5 days in a row you will get on the 5th day a extra bonus of 5 strength and 5 experience points.

Fighting
If you are new in eRepublik, you soon will see the ingame mission that you should join a Military Unit (MU) as soon as possible. That is completely free, and the best option. Becouse your MU will bring you your Daily Order (DO). The Daily Order is a mission which you brings you a nice bonus when it is completed. To complete the DO you must get 25 kills in a certain battle (set by your MU). It is ofcourse not only for the bonus, but also to help our allies. This is what the battle page looks like:

Green – The country you fight for.
Purple – The region where the battle takes place.
Red – The country you fight against.
White – Information about the player. The lower green bar is your energy.
Yellow – The weapon you fight with, the number is how much you have left in your storage.
Black – The fight button, every time you press it you will defeat an enemy. So to complete you DO press 25 times! The sandwich next to it is to replenish your energy with food. (fighting uses energy, just like training or working.
Blue – Mass Destruction Weapons like Bombs and Rockets can be used here.
Grey – Number of ‘points’ for each country. If one of the two countries reaches 94 points, the campaign.

Important tip: In this battle the DO was to fight for Poland and against Germany. In this situation Gwom will fight for the wrong country and that won’t add a kill to his DO. To solve this problem you have to switch to another region. Take a good look before fighting, this is a very common mistake!

A ‘Campaign’ is won by the country that reaches 94 points first. A campain consists of battles. Each won battle rewards your country with points. (You division is dependent on which level you are)
-Division 1 (Lv. 1-34) 1 point
-Division 2 (Lv. 35-49) 2 points
-Division 3 (Lv. 50-69) 3 points
-Division 4 (Lv. 70+) 5 points

Weapons are an important part of fighting in eRepublik. We recommand you to start immidiatly fighting with the best weapon (Highest Q, Q stands for Quality), which is Q7. Weapons can be bought on the market.

At the beginning it’s very smart to only complete your DO and save all you bazookas. If you play the game a little longer you will understand the fighting more, but this are the basics and the most important things you have to know about fighting.
