[MoHA] Guide to the Map

Day 2,857, 08:38 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

Yo Citizens!

Today, your Ministry of Home Affairs team have decided to release a guide to maps after a request from one of you!
Thank you Hail Astrid! Although we are trying to stick to military and strategy guides we are happy for any requests from eUK citizens and we’ll see what guides we can produce.
The Map
The map shows citizens who owns what, what bonuses regions have, who is attacking what and what the most populated region of an eCountry are as well as the resource from a region.

Wars
The map will show you where a country is being attacked, from who and what region the attack is taking place. To find this, look out for the region’s with red names and flames coming out of them. When you hover over the region being attacked it will tell you who is attacking that region at the bottom of the map.
Regions
To see some quick information on a region, click on the “building symbol” on this specific region. The pop-up box will show the name of the region, the number of people in the region, the original owners of the region, the current owners and what resource those owners gain from the region.

For more specific and detailed information, click anywhere on the region and select the blue i. Here you are able to see more specific details on the region as well as some quick country information (by clicking on the countries). It is also possible to move to another region here, this is possibly the quickest way to move region.
Overlays
Overlays are edits to the map which show different things. To access them, click on the “layers symbol” on the left of the map. “My Location” shows where you are in the eWorld, “Cities” shows the building symbol over each region (which you might want to click on) as well as some city names on the map. “CitiesBattles” shows the battles going on in different regions. “Regions” colours in the different regions based on which country currently owns them. “Resources” shows the resource of each region (and further colours the map).
Control Buttons
There are several control buttons you should need to understand to become a map master! On the left you have the plus and minus which are used to zoom in and out of the map. The world button below it gives you a further zoomed out minimap to show which area of the world you are looking at. Below that is the overlays button which has already been discussed. The home button in the bottom left take you to your current position (and significantly zooms in). The red (possibly glowing) button next to that will give you your daily order information, and gives you the option to go to the battlefield and get the reward. You are also able to search on the top right.

Now you should have a decent understanding of how to use the world map. Explore and try out all of the features and you’ll get used to it in no time! If you have any questions, or new guide requests, just drop it in the comments and one of the MoHA team will check it out.
