was ist der besondere Reiz in eRepublik? Klar, dass man mit anderen Ländern interagieren kann, die alle ihre eigene Community haben. Deshalb soll ab heute neues altes Programm wiederbelebt werden, das es seit ewigen Zeiten nicht mehr gab, das Botschafterprogramm.

Was bedeutet dies?
Botschafter pflegen die Beziehungen zwischen dem Heimatland und einer anderen Nation in der eWelt. Sie sind dem Botschaftskoordinator, der Teil des MoFAs ist, untergeordnet und sammeln u.a. Informationen für das MoFA.

Was erwartet dich?
Es erwarten dich interessante Aufgaben im Außendienst für eGermark. Du liest z.B. ausländische Presse, hinterlässt Grüße von eGermark, knüpfst bestenfalls Kontakte mit den eBürgern oder führst Interviews, die du dann an den Botschaftskoordinator deines Vertrauens weitergeben kannst. Dieser wiederum ist für die Weitergabe an MoFA und CP und für eventuelle Veröffentlichungen in Artikelform verantwortlich. Die Stelle ist je auf einen Monat ausgeschrieben, an jedem 10. des Monats wird nachgefragt, ob weiterhin Interesse besteht. Für die erste Amtszeit sind also erstmal nur zwei Wochen vorgesehen, dann schauen wir wie es läuft.

Was solltest du mitbringen?
Interesse an Außenpolitik und dem Kontakt mit anderen Nationen. Entsprechende Sprachkenntnisse sind von großem Vorteil, aber zur Not reicht auch ein Übersetzungsprogramm um das wichtigste mitzubekommen. Nicht von Nöten ist es deine Staatsbürgerschaft zu wechseln, über die Seite News kann man oben das Land auswählen, dessen Presse man lesen möchte und kann sich somit leicht informieren..

Dear eCitizens,

what is so special about eRepublik? Sure, there are different countries with their own communities to interact with. Because of that today we will revive the ambassador program!
Yeay!

What does that mean?
Ambassadors work on the good relations between their home country eGermark and other nation(s) in the eWorld. They are working with the ambassador coordinator, who is part of the MoFA and gather information for the MoFA.

What will be expected of you?
There will be interesting field trips for eGermanys foreign service. You will be reading the foreign press, present eGermark to the people of the country you are assigned to, by that initiate contact to citizens. Besides that another possibility are interviews with government officials, which you can relay to the ambassadorial coordinator then. He will be overseen by the MoFA or CP and is responsible for publishing it in the press. The job has a limited timeframe of one month, which can be prolonged every 10th of a month. So for the beginning there are just two weeks and we will review the work and decide if further involvement is in our interest.

What is nessessary?
You should be interested in foreign affairs and the contact to other nations. Knowledge of the language is advantageous but not a requirement, google translator helps to understand most of the relevant facts. Also changing of citizenship is unnecessary, you can read the press by travelling to the country, or via the newspaper controls.

Great, then choose the country you want to ambassador in and write to Otis84, the new embassador coordinator. Then you can write to your profile: “eGerman Embassador in xxx-Land” and you will be mentioned below every MoFA article as embassador (watch below).
