[MoFA-BG] Call to Arms and Acknowledgements

Hello everyone,

We are nearly half way through our term, yet these last two weeks brought significant political and military changes that will have a long term impact not only on Bulgaria but the Balkans itself.

Bulgaria has a reputation of a nation that always helps and protects its friends in need. Whether they are in South America (Chile), the Balkans (Macedonia), the Atlantic (Ireland), the Pacific (Indonesia) or the Mediterranean (Spain), we’ve been there fighting for a just cause.

This term has not been any different. Our Macedonian brothers launched a campaign that sought to liberate Spain. We were a bit late and we did not stay for too long but we successfully managed to help Macedonia wipe out Argentina for the first time since January 2015.

As it happens, whenever we help our friends, the Greeks are there to stab us from behind. It’s about time they learn that by attacking us they will have to bare the consequences. This time they will not get away with another NAP but their long lasting occupation.

Last few days Bulgaria witnessed some EPIC battles. I would like to thank every single soldier who contributed to this great fun. Nonetheless, I cannot conclude this article without our friends:

MACEDONIA: Thank you for always being there! You’ve proved yourself countless times, you’re such a loyal and devoted friend that it will take a century to repay you for all the good deeds you’ve done.


CHILE: We have some political differences at the moment but when we needed you, you were there. Thank you for the compromises you’re doing, thank you for being the faithful friend you are. Please know that we have not given up on you and whenever you are ready we will be here to give Nexus another chance.


SPAIN: Regardless of being under attack, you ignored your battles and you proved yourself on the battlefield. Thank you.


IRAN: You guys cause havoc in the enemy’s army every time your flag appears on the battlefield. We hope we will the chance to return the favour soon enough.


SERBIA and ROMANIA: Our relations have been on and off since the early ages of erepublik. We’ve been allies for just a few days and yet your commitment proved to us that we have made the right decision. Thank you for your support and advice!


INDONESIA: You were the first to respond to our calls for help, always there in the morning to set your CoD and to offer assistance. It’s a pleasure having you!


RUSSIA: There is no need to say anything about our oldest erep friend. Thank you for being here, thank you for believing in us against all the odds you’re facing.


PERU: We are aware of all the support you’ve send to us without the need to ask for it. It means a lot and it will be remembered.


The list goes on with Slovenia, Estonia, United Kingdom, Paraguay, and Lithuania. While some of you have been by our side for years, with others we have a rather new relationship. We are grateful seeing your flags in our battles! It speaks for itself!

PS. Regards to Greece for the interesting gameplay and for making this campaign fun and full of emotions. We will see you tomorrow on the battlefield!
