Join the new world

1) Hello ED. First at all, can you introduce yourself ? Why your nick ?

I have been playing since August of 2009. When I first joined the game the Canadian Progressive front was still in it’s infancy and led by the late and very dynamic Tyler F Dursden. I joined thinking it was a great place to start because it was a new just like me. I have been there ever since.

The nick name, Exalted Druid actually came from a random name generator. I was trying to use some other nickname that was already taken and one of the names a game recommended was Exalted Druid. I loved it and it has never failed to be available where ever my gaming life has taken me which is huge bonus. I get to use every where I choose.



2) You are one of the most elected CP. What is your project for eCanada ? Any law to be proposed ?

This term we took Scotland from Finland to help the UK. We then successfully returned it the UK where it has remained ever since. The war was successful and it was great to get into some real action. The reality it we are not very strong and when we do something it relies heavily on CC for CO.

Now we deliberately only exposed Newfoundland on that front with our Serbian and Romanian wall behind us. No one builds walls better than Canada, nobody, it’s true. Not only did we build the wall but we made Serbia and Romania pay for it as Mexico had other wall commitments. It’s true, we did. We shall maintain the wall to allow for further action on that front if it should present itself.

The other thing of interest this coming month is Serbia has figured out a way around the 7 day Natural enemy law. These reset wars have been the only down side of the rental agreements as our citizens cannot Work as Manager (WAM) with an open war on occupied territory. With this new technique we believe the entire Reset war will only take 3 to 4 days. This is like getting to keep our cake and eating it too.



3) What do you tinhk of the political modul of eRep ?

Well as you know Canada is committed to Democracy. This is by far the best way to play the game. At least we are attempting to breath some life into the political module. With Dictatorship why even bother?

I have suggested Free Trade agreements to the Admins to help give us another set of laws to negotiate and vote on. Just think MPP’s but the result is no import tax’s between two countries that have a Free Trade deal in place. Might breathe some life into the other broken module, the economic one, as well.



4) What do you think of the game in general since you are here ?

I enjoy the people. I think everyone still here is here because of the people. I always suggest new player's friend as many people as possible because the game comes alive in the Shoutbox.



5) Do you think eUSA is a threat for us ?

The USA presents zero threat to us. We have a protection packed with Serbia and Romania in our rental deal . An attack on Canada’s cores is considered and treated as an attack on Serbia and Romania themselves so it won’t ever happen. So unless we are insane enough to attack them first they are not going to be insane enough to attack us.

You know most of the people in the USA and I bet Canada don’t even remember the story why we don’t like each other. It is just part of the game play now. I had to explain the whole story to a recent MoFA for the USA who wasn't around for the original fallout.

Most the players is involved on our side are gone or barely play now so the grudge makes little sense. It is time boths sides moved on.



6) A last word ?

I do look forward to pulling off a 3 or 4 day reset war. Playing with game mechanics is always interesting and is one of the reasons playing the game in the executive can be interesting and fun. We will work at perfecting the technique to inconvenience the business owner with resets as little as possible now and in the future.
