[MoD] Guide for Training Battle Day 788-789

Day 788, 19:51 Published in Czech Republic Czech Republic by Czech Ministry of Defense

Thanks to our MPP with eMalaysia we are now in the Malaysia-Phillipines ("Sol&quot😉 training war. The second battle that involves us has begun:

Sabah

Schedule

There is usually a training battle starting every other day, so that we have the opportunity to fight every day as long as we log in at the right time.

The battles start at about 13:00 eRep time. The schedule for the next few days, using eRep times:

Day 788 13:00 to 24:00
Day 789 00:00 to 13:00

Times approximate.

The dates of the next battles have not been posted yet. There are occasional days off to correct start times etc, and there have been cancellations during attacks on Malaysia. Otherwise the battles have been reliably regular in the recent past.

General Information

Please use the battles to increase your experience points and rank, and to maintain your wellness at a high level. This way you can always work at high wellness.

To fight you need to be at least level 5 (not strength 5) and have 40 or more wellness points.

Hospitals

To use the hospital in your region you need to have fought at least once that day. You can only use the hospital once per day.

The Q5 hospitals in Northern and Southern Bohemia will give you 50 wellness points when you use them. The Q4 hospital in Moravia will give you 40 wellness points.

Starting at high wellness (ie over 90) with normal techniques (no gifting, no fighting after using the hospital) this means that you can fight 5 times per day if you live in N or S Bohemia and 4 times per day if you live in Moravia.

You will only have access to the hospital in your region after you have fought that day. You can reach the hospital via the battlefield page (a 'Hospital' button will appear) or via your region page (where a 'Heal button will appear):

Number of times to fight

Residents of Northern and Southern Bohemia
If starting with a wellness of over 55 and you want to maintain your wellness at over 95, fight until your wellness is under 55, do not fight after your wellness gets below 55.
If starting with a wellness of over 50 and you want to maintain your wellness at over 90, fight until your wellness is under 50, do not fight after your wellness gets below 50.
If starting with wellness below 55 or 50, just fight once before healing.

Residents of Moravia
If starting with a wellness of over 65 and you want to maintain your wellness at over 95, fight until your wellness is under 65, do not fight after your wellness gets below 65.
If starting with a wellness of over 60 and you want to maintain your wellness at over 90, fight until your wellness is under 60, do not fight after your wellness gets below 60.
If starting with wellness below 65 or 60, just fight once before healing.

Many employers will prefer you to work when your wellness is over 95. Soldiers should keep their wellness over 95.

Unless you know what you are doing (a topic for a later article) do not fight after healing on that day.

Sequence

My usual routine is to

Fight - Heal - Work - Train.

If your strength is below about 6 there is a slight advantage in having the following routine if you wish to maximize your damage at the expense of a very small loss in productivity:

Train - Fight - Heal - Work.

Time to fight

We prefer soldiers to fight as late in the day as possible - at their last login before day change or before the end of the battle, whichever comes sooner.

Use of weapons

You can fight without weapons. This will not affect your gain in experience points (XPs) but it will affect your 'damage' and hence your total damage. Your total damage determines what rank you have, and your rank determines how much damage you do - the higher your rank the more damage you do. It is, therefore, worth using weapons if you wish to increase your rank faster. Fighting with a Q1 weapon enables you to do 240% of the damage that you would do bare handed.

The training battles allow you to maintain high wellness with only Q1 food, no matter what quality job you have. (Note: don't stop buying food altogether, though you could) You can buy Q1 food and then buy Q1 weapons whenever you can afford them. Just buy one or two at a time unless you have an organisation to store them in. This way you can use a limited number of weapons on the fights you do at high wellness, when they will have the most effect on your damage.

Assistance for citizens with low wellness

If you are at level 5 or above, but below 40 wellness please leave a comment below and we will try to help.

Costs

For information: Participation costs us 2.4 gold/battle (ie 1.2 gold/day) plus the full cost of the MPP with Malaysia (100 gold for each side, renewable every 30 days). The per-battle cost is paid weekly in advance.
