I have tried. It is not easy because erepublik is using CloudFlare - and CloudFlare blocks access to erepublik 🙁
I'm not really sure I see why their use of CloudFlare should have any influence on the number of players active?
Not everyone has the patience to enter a new captcha code every 2-5 minutes. Or sit for 30 minutes trying to find a proxy which is not blocked - and then get blocked anyway after 10 more minutes.
But why would anyone need to use a proxy to play eRepublik?
Unless they of course make use of multiple accounts, in which case we don't really want them in the game anyway..
To my understanding, china has blocked erepublik with their great firewall. They play the game with proxys, but they are the only ones i know of.
I see - if I don't remember incorrectly, Siku Siku is from Poland RL, so I don't think that's the explanation..
I have an extra computer for games. But many of my friends do not. Therefore they need to use proxy to improve their security. I would never use my main computer without a secure connection. I would be surprised if anyone would compromise their security and risk indentity theft because of the game. It is definitely not worth the risk!
Here in Denmark has the government forced a "common login" solution which has (unfortunately) a hopeless design and very low security because of it. A secure solution is normally using two encryption keys, one is at the server and the other one at the user. Not with this one. Here are both keys stored on a 3rd party server! Furthermore, they do not allow for individual login for each application, you are forced to use the same login for the bank, tax office, municipality, insurance company or health care. E.g. if it gets hacked you lose everything. Since it is not possible to get a reasonable security, the only way to improve your chances against the hackers is to avoid all unwanted access to your computer. (=no cookies, no games, no anything else on the computer which is used for the common login). Yes, it is very bad. The politicians who decided for this had no idea about computer security.
Im sry to say, but you are paranoid. I never heard about anyone before, that needs to have 2 computers to play a game.
Then you misunderstood. Two machines are not because of the game, two machines are because of the unsecure stupid NemID. I would prefer to have only 1 machine, of course. I would prefer to have the freedom to chose the way of communication with the authorities - letter, e-mail or their common login. They just do not give that choice anymore.
Maybe I did and maybe not. No matter what, I never heard anyone say they needed 2 computers because of NemID. As long as you have your keycard safe.........
Sorry to say so, but thinking using proxies will stop hackers atticking you is showing you don't really grasp the concept

I know, but I cannot do anything about the forced common login. The only little thing I can do is not to use the same machine. I wished I could use a digital signature as in others countries.
