I want to know about your past support of Rolo and the coalition.
Me and my parting have been working for along time to put vote buying to end in eCanada. U have stated your support for rolo and in extension his practise of making a mockery of our elections. Can u please address this issue?

You'll never put vote buying to an end Crock. Vote buying is as old as the game, so don't try and pretend it's a Rolo thing as well. Some new players who have no clue about what went on before might be fooled, but the older crowd isn't.

Also, you're arguments are a form of vote bribery/extortion with statements such as "rolo and in extension his practise of making a mockery of our elections." not to mention the monthly "If you vote for anyone but us the world will end" articles.

I really like the monetary market and MU/Merc Fund idea. Other countries are making a fortune off the monetary market, no doubt funding their wars/buying mercenaries.

One of the biggest problems I saw with past leadership was the lack of mercenary use resulting in Poland taking far too long to kick out of Canada. If we are invaded in future, we are going to need mercenaries to support our own troops and ally contribution.

I haven't seen any similar plan from any other candidate and plan to raise it as a question when we are given the opportunity.

@Crock: Nothing I can do can make Rolo leave. It's by his choice he's still here.
The way I see it, Rolo buys votes from people who are indifferent to the political spectrum of the country anyway. Other parties are built up with platforms from a core group of people and beliefs. If someone chooses to join a party and embodies the party's beliefs, it's their choice. The same goes if they don't care about politics and decide to sell their vote.

eCanada needs good options, not pauper candidates like an MDP drone.

Yah, instead of an experienced player that knows how to maneuver international issues, and has contacts in other countries that could be vital in the coming weeks we should elect a new player with absolutely no experience, no international exposure, and will take 10-15 days before he even starts to get a handle on how things work because that's who Funky endorsed as a result of guilt he feels over the CPF wronging Clan Wolf.

the MDP is still paying the price for the deal Rylde made with devil many months ago. Mary Chan is a valued member of eCanada and if she had no ties to the history of the coalition , would hands down be the next CP of eCanada. This is not how how things are though

With congress actually functioning due to respect for other members and the fact that we suffered through a month with out funding for our MU's , the need for leadership is not so great this time around.

look at the current party support or each candidate for CP. by party endorsements it will be a land slide victory for foxfire. He may not have the connections of a player of three plus years , but he also does not have the baggage. eCanada as a nation is for once getting our house in order, through the efforts of congress.

Assuming you actually have intimate knowledge of what your MDP cheerleader candidate has as far as genuine experience goes, and that her "contacts" will still be useful after December 5, (if they ever were beneficial in any real sense) I would still rather take the chance on a prepared candidate over the consistently awful products of the MDP.

She had three months in a credible roleplaying capacity to prove her leadership potential. She showed mediocrity instead, "maneuvering" us to a worse state of affairs than where we were before her inept administration began.

History has shown (Glove/Evry) that candidates wimply with prior campaign experience turn out much better and prepared than those simply with shoddy roleplaying experience. Just look at Foxfire's article(s) and then look at this half-assed attempt of a campaign article.

Oh I must have missed Foxfire's articles. I looked in the current media sections and didn't see anything written by him.

All I saw was 3 links on his profile page to articles dating back more than a month ago. Are those the articles you mean? I would think a serious candidate would at least copy/paste his writing into a new article to get back on the main page if he truly believed in it.

Foxfire is prepared, but untested, yes. Mary is tested (I give her a D-) but unprepared and "feeling indifferent about all things eRepublik."

My vote is for Mary Chan - she's the ONLY real candidate.

Foxfire hasn't published any articles regarding his presidency, and frankly he's too inexperienced to be CP.
If Kronos Q was still in the race, I would have to think about who to vote for... but this is an easy decision for most eCanadians.

I am sick of labeling in this game. We are labeling MDP "COALITION" so we don't actually have to debate them on a level playing field. It is an effective tactic, but if we ever want to be a united country we have to stop this shit. Muglack has stated there is no more coalition. If we don't accept that then we force them back into the coalition. The coalition was Rylde's only move to be CP. The coalition is dead, let us bury it. Mary Chan is very good candidate, so stop talking bullshit.

As an outside, but interested, observer I find this fascinating. If campaigns actually mattered, some of the criticism levelled at MC might be warranted. What does the article have though that is most important? Honesty and candor. For my money that is worth more than gold right now.

Involvement is overrated, especially when used as a way to slight others.
Less involved = doing stuff behind the scenes that people can't criticize you about for doing a poor job

I can accept that as a valid point Plugson. Behind the scenes work is still work.

There were however a number of votes so far this term, one of which failed to me quorum and needed to be extended. Active behind the scenes or not, an "effective" Congressperson would most likely have made their opinion known.

Well, Congresscritters aren't exactly elected to be behind the scenes people anyhow, just like how behind-the-scene CPs or PPs aren't a great match either.

I see that the average turn-out for in-game votes is 35 people in a 24hour period ~ seems active there. I guess the forums is just too behind-the-scenes for people to go looking for.

All congressmen were pm'd in game advising them of the forum votes. They didn't need to "go looking"
