[ILP PP] ILP - Still working hard for eIreland

Day 1,800, 03:45 Published in Ireland Ireland by Winston Hope Smith

Dear Colleagues, Comrades and eIrish Citizens,

The Congress elections are tomorrow and you, the electorate, have a range of choices.

I am asking you to support the ILP

The major issue of the last previous and current government remains the thefts from the national treasury. This has had a profound effect on how our state runs. There are many reasons for why it happened and whilst the main blame lies with SAWC and whoever was behind the 2nd theft, it is accepted that in the last ILP Government mistakes were made. We should never have allowed SAWC access to the orgs. We are proud that he tried to correct this error by withdrawing our support for his candidacy for CP. We regret that it was too late to remove his access to the orgs due to an ILP CP inactive due to RL medical problems.

I have to stress this: no ILP member benefited from the thefts. Not one. If it is ever discovered that a member did knowingly receive one CC from the thefts, they will be blacklisted from ever receiving our support, whether political or from our MU. I hope that the leadership of the other parties, including Saorise and The Fock You Looking At will join us in this commitment.

Our immediate response has been to implement a policy of "vetting" candidates in an attempt to avoid the mistakes of the past.

The ILP continues to move forward and will, in conjunction with willing partners, strive to revive the economy. This is our number one goal of this congress - refilling the state coffers. To that end we will listen to all and any plans (like we did before with the "Sweet" bot scheme).

You, no doubt, will see trolls and negative comments below. Ignore them! The ILP is the largest party for a reason: we are the party of honesty and opportunity. That is why the small minority of bitter voices, themselves often past or currently implicated in stealing from eIreland, are so threatened by us. Other comments will ask valid questions and urge you to vote elsewhere. I respect these posters and only ask that you, the voters, carefully decide where your vote should go.

I hope you will see that the ILP offers the best balance against a majority rule. Such rule by Saorise/tfyla alliance will ride roughshot over the views of the populace.

For this election we have the largest list of candidates in the ILP's history. Each candidate has been vetted with consideration given to desire to serve, activity, honesty, integrity and ideas.

So I present, in order of their listing, our candidates and ask you to support the ILP.

See you at the ballot box!

Until next time
