[Huey George] - UK Treasury Statement
Huey George
Four days ago I recorded that the funds from the Government's MM fishing organisations;
eUK Exchequer
Forex Reserve
eUK Royal Mint
41 Commando
43 Commando
Special Forces Russia
HMS Fezoj
had been transferred to a location unknown to me.
The funds totaled 296,437.00cc and 20 Gold.
I secured the eUK Royal Mint, the only other Organisation with significant funds in, other than the Bank of England which I had changed the password weekly since my appointment as Governor due to my cautious nature, so at the time I was the only one with access to it. I logged on to the IRC to speak with the Country President Appleby once again. Our conversation is presented below;

In my mind the transfer of Country Account funds to Government Organisations is a Congressional decision in conjunction with the Country President. The Ministry of Finance is there to advise regardless whether or not they agree personally.
The transfer and spend of the funds in Government Organisations is the Country President decision in conjunction with Congress. Once again, the Ministry of Finance is there to advise regardless whether or not they agree personally.
This is because Congress and the Country President are elected and accountable to outline, explain, justify their decisions.
On a personal level I trusted our Country President Appleby as the electorate had done by electing him as Country President. So if he tell me he has moved the funds of the UK Treasury to save for future long term Government use I believe they only be used for future Government use even if this action could be regarded as exceeding the remit of a Country President. I'm also aware that a Minister of Finance that serves their own interest above their Country President's or Congress's can be easily replaced. As Minister of Finance I was happy I still had the Bank of England funds to complete the rest of the training ground loans I had agreed with UK citizens during the promotion period.
I do have my own views regarding all financial events, the current political situation of the UK and my own desire for greater transparency in Government which may have come across in the IRC logs however while I'm not shy about sharing them I do try my best not to have them interfere directly with what I see Minister of Finance responsibilities being, as I have many other outlets to try and inform Government of my views.
To be honest I'm not sure there ever was a 'right' course of action to take in this situation however I supported Appleby in his decision as I felt it's what the Governor of his cabinet should do. I respect him enough too, give him the leave to justify his actions to the electorate while he remained our elected Country President. I informed BigAnt as soon as he became accountable for the UK's Treasury

I suppose I can just about accept this from Huey's side.
lol at Appleby saying that BigAnt has no real goverment experience.
BigAnt has been CP 3 times and Appleby 2 times!
Appleby has stolen the money, simple as. If he wanted to make some kind of savings fund then he should have told everyone about it in public and got congress to agree to it.
Then it should be a long term trusted eUKer holding the money (such as Huey), not a shite and biased CP who hardly logged in.
So what will happen with these funds now?
A Serb ate them
In my opinion;
If I truly share the blame with Appleby. I'd call for him to return the funds into the Country's accounts to allow Congress and BigAnt to decide their use. Or at least 50% of them or whatever proportion of the blame he attributes to me. Based on the vox populi.
If he stands by the call he made as the Country President regarding these funds, he can safely ignore my call for him to return the funds.
At any rate at least show some accountability whether it be pride or shame...
I've explained my actions to his electorate and I don't see why should the MoF shoulder the sole responsibility to explain a decision made by their Country President.
Pretty shocked that you knew for 4 days that something potentially iffy was going on and told no-one. Your loyalty to an elected CP is probably commendable but CP's can be very naughty men and the fact that really troubles me is that your response to what he was doing in the messages was "Sure, ok" rather then question his actions even a wee bit.
Appleby seem sure in his decision based on his action to transfer the funds prior to informing me, maybe in hindsight I should have ask more questions.
I felt a CP lead discussion on this issue or for a resolution to be found during the handover of the Country Presidency was the best course of action for the UK on this one... I still do.
Maybe most of all I felt four days wasn't too much time to hope for a resolution or Appleby to be convinced otherwise...to avoid being in the middle of this fallout.
Appleby is no longer president so the decision was no longer his to take after 2pm on July 6th as his mandate expired, he is a thief pure and simple and no better than Chewie.
The first line says it happened four days ago, Appleby was still CP. Huey had no choice but to follow his instructions or resign. If he had resigned SHA would still have been able to access the funds. SHA is the only one who is responsible and he should explain his actions.
Ministers should not be expected to account for the actions of the CP or congress.
No I am saying that the thief in question has no right to the eUK's money being 'withheld' as from 2pm on July 6th. if the admins had any balls they would ban SHA and his I.P. Ultimate butthurt is all it is.
The article appeared, to me, to be about Huey's role in the money being transferred and as the MOF there was nothing he could do to stop the then CP acting as he did.
I agree that SHA has no right to withhold the money, no CP has the right to help themselves to the treasury whatever their personal justification for doing so, the admins are a complete waste of space we've seen time and again that they do nothing to protect countries or individuals from thieves or cheats.
OK, we now know what happened and why it happened. The question is, what now?? lol
How many times are people going to launch impeachments without sufficient support to push them through, and then be surprised when the CP gets narked and runs off with the treasury?
