It is a sad day for me and my fellow party members as Lord Halifax, our former president, has resigned and left for the eNetherlands. It was a horrible moment of regret for me when reading his goodbye message but his reasons are understandable. His exact words were: "Look people. I'll leave ya, I'm changing CS and moving to eNetherlands" he further adde
😛"I must go. I'm sick of current (state of the) eUK". My response is: We all are friend, we all are.
You must be able to see where he is coming from, the people of this country are incredibly misrepresented. Each term we see someone who has already been prime minister, someone who has been on eRepublik since it's inception, or someone who robs us of everything only adding to the stigma of new candidates. We must stop this repetitive cycle, we must strive for a better eUK, we must unify.
If like me you're a new player, if like me you're prevented from having any real part in eUK politics, if like me you are accused of being a multi'(user of multiple accounts) or a PTOer (Politcal Overtaker) for simply trying to join in, and if like me you want to change this I recommend you join The Great British Democratic Party.
Our fight continues daily, our struggles seem to grow but so does our courage, our commitment, our abhorrence. We appear small, we appear weak, and we appear nugatory but we are the exact opposite. Over the past few days membership has skyrocketed, political clout has doubled and our importance is swelling up the already battered face of eUK politics.
Join our ranks and fight the good fight, for democracy, for liberty, for justice. We are at a crossroad in the eUK. Move forwards not backwards.

Sadly, that is true. It is hard for younger players to crack their way into the ranks. There are exceptions, but generally younger players can't get into the government because there are already people there who are more experienced and have been in the game longer. Its hard to dislodge someone who's already doing a good job.
GBDP seeks to break the shackles of young members like myself through equal representation.
Try MoHA, they have little to no talent at the moment. Get a deputy position for a month or two then take the full minister position. Do well through that.

Forgive me for taking a couple months break.
I don't care how much or how little anyone plays, but you've had the account for about six months and played for two it's hardly a qualification for government or congress. Try playing the game for a while before expecting to be put in a position of responsibility where your decisions affect everyone in eUK.
You're right, it is hard to get into a meaningful position but it's better for us to just try at it rather than complain :c
There are always deputy positions up for grabs; snag one for a good start.
