Vote for constructive article on tax policy, however ideas presented need discussion and some refinement!

Personally, I run three companies, all in Croatia (2 grain q1, and a q1 food company):

Income tax is almost flat, at around 10 %.
Raw materials are free from VAT, so the taxation is moved to the final products which have 5% VAT.
Taxes are low so it's not worth of extra work needed for tax evasion.
Minimum wage should be high enough to stop disloyal competition (multy-farms), and to cover costs of production to employer for a new player employee (or higher if this is subsidized by a government).

This is a good example of a flat tax rate at 10 %. And they are yet to build their economy infrastructure in Egypt.
