[ESO] Public Service Announcement
HebronGazelle
Hey, your lovely media team from ESO here. Wait! You didn't know we had a media team? Being the forward thinking and innovative party we are, we had to create new ways to be able to include more members of our party in tasks. Today the media team will tackle the important issue of Congress during the Argentinian invasion, as well as a short introduction to the media team.
What Will Happen With Congress?
The question congress voted on was ‘Do you agree that in the event of a wipe, the previous congress should continue holding their seats?’ the answers were: yes, no and abstain. If congress had voted ‘no’ then we were ready to go crazy and suggest that the country should just be run by ESO. That would have been too awesome for the eUK to handle so Congress voted 12 - 2 in favour of keeping Congress in the event of a wipe.
Therefore in the case of a wipe, ESO shall keep its two current Congressmen (just without the in-game titles). They are Max Blue and Rodney Mckay. Although it is usually something to be excited about, this is only because of a wipe. Damn those pesky Argentinians!
Welcome, Media Team!
The ESO media team currently consists of 4 members:
- Rodney Mckay
- CheetahCurtis
- VoodooMike71
- Max Blue
But we are always looking for more people to help out.
What do we do? Who are we? Are you superheroes? We've already answered the second question, and the third is an obvious yes! We will be publishing the latest information about ESO in regular articles so that the country can keep up-to-date with the eUK's greatest party!
I guess this is what Voodoo contributed to the article…
All that's all from us for now,
Your ESO Media Team,
Rodney, Cheetah, Voodoo, Max

Needs more Rock Paper Scissors
But voted because ESO
We can certainly improve 🙂
We'll have RPS, loans, and more links in future articles.
Of course congress are going to vote themselves in for a second term if we remain wiped...
Congress are pretty stupid, they are the kind of people to remove their own power.
The other options were really quite bad though. Either you'd rely calculations based on speculations (which probably wouldn't account for inevitable ESO deals to get their guys in, UKPP voting unpredictably thanks to WillyGate, etc. etc.) or you could alternatively have no congress, which is kinda ridiculous when you realise thanks to dictatorship according to the game mechanics we shouldn't really have one anyway.
This was just a simple way out, and something we probably would've done if we were wiped before the dictatorship module was introduced.
Besides congress medals aren't worth anything anymore anyway.

Ah I miss the old ESO media team. You want some of my old graphics?
Hey! It wasn't just the photo. I corrected a typo, provided links to easily found ESO graphics and everything!
Right, that's it - you're definitely out of the next tea and biscuits round.
😮 Who put that in there?
And anyway, if you work on height rather than boring boring words, that photo is the single biggest part of the article. Technically that makes this MY article.
