[DoD] Some Clarification...Maybe...

Hopefully, this article will at least explain parts of what is going on right now.

The whole idea is to rent Scandinavian regions. Australia’s core regions are not winnable right now. They just aren’t. The last CP tried that and it didn’t work. We had limited options on where we could airstrike this month, and as talks went on or people didn’t respond those options disappeared. The only help we were going to get in regards to an airstrike was from Asgard. That’s what you see happening right now. These battles in Scandinavia are to secure us with a congress and with regions. By now it should be fairly clear that Aus operates better and is more active when we have regions. DoD articles will tell you where to fight. We’re a good way away from being done yet, so keep your eyes peeled and be patient with us. I’m not sure if I can give you any more detailed information other than that right now.

In regards to Finland RW’s regions from us - they were going to be returned, not quite as soon as they have to give us a better chance and better security, but whatever, it’s happened. This has not come from their government, this has come from one, probably a few citizens who for whatever reason think that we weren’t going to give them back. I mean, come on, it’s Australia, we aren’t a world power, we don’t have billions of damage at our disposal. We’re weak. That’s just how it is. Finlands government has been absolutely fantastic to us, even putting up CO’s and fighting on our side. This isn’t their fault. They’re doing everything they can. And hey, even we know what it’s like to have citizens who aren’t on the same page as us and who actively want to destroy what we’re doing.

The only core region we have the slightest shot at is Western Australia, and that is temporary. It was meant to be RW’d back to us in the last battle, but unfortunately the citizens of the country that currently occupy the region didn’t hold off. Again, that didn’t come from their government, or even their alliance. Either way, we will end up with that region in our hands in the next few days. We won’t be keeping it. Indonesia will be retaking that region. The idea was that it would be RW’d for us to gain a congress (Aurora have said that actually want us to have a congress) and then it will be taken.

So as you can see, if we wanted regions, we needed to go somewhere to get them. Scandinavia was our only option in the end. I just want to say thank you to them for allowing us to do this and working with us through it. You guys are awesome!

To anyone who thinks we aren’t getting help - you’re insane. Australia has had so much help the past few months from allies and we’ve made some tight bonds. We’ve had more help than most other countries in a similar position to ours. We’ve been prio for LETO a good few times this month already. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Brotherhood ain’t dead.

What I can say, is to keep an eye out for DoD articles and shouts in the news feed. I try my best to keep you guys informed of where to fight. Sometimes RL gets in the way, sometimes I’m at work or asleep when a battle kicks off, but I try to do it ASAP. I’d really really appreciate it if you guys could vote those articles up so everyone can see what our aim is.
