[Dictator] A few friendly updates from your local Ministries
Sir Humphrey Appleby
First cabinet meeting aftermath
Evenin’ gents, hope the mission to randomly bully scientists in a pub is going well
We’ve had a busy few days as our devious schemes and edicts begin to come into effect. I'm very happily to see 2 parties adopt shadow cabinets to constructively propose alternative ideas to our own. For now however, most of your ministers have been ridiculously active in government initiatives and I’m very happy to give you a couple of updates.
Reintroduction of strikes & call to arms
The Ministry of Defence will be working to reestablish supplied strikes on #MoD in coordination with the eUK’s military units and occasionally sirius and NSPP allies. Given the chaotic exchange of regions in France and potially falklandseque threat to our own borders we will be taking the issue of utilising our national damage extremely seriously. If you’re a member of a military unit then hopefully you should get a further update soon
🙂.
In serious wartime the pressure this puts on our tank supply can be difficult. Accordingly, we will try to bring back a Call to Arms scheme on the MoD Battle priorities article and a distribution of supplies when they’re issued. Further, any who are enrolled in the National Health Service will receive a bonus on either scheme.
Emergy Grant
The team at the Bank of England will be working on surveying demand for various grants and upgrade schemes utilizing the huge donation from Emergy, a hugely respected eUK citizen who has sadly left us. Whilst we will be careful in saving the vast majority for a rainy day, we will also try and provide a sustainable service to help active players get over a largely broken economy module.
Home Affairs
The Education department will be working on updated guides for new players on how to quickly understand the game and help them enrol into the NHS. They will also be given a brief on the function of each ministry and given the opportunity to get directly involved in government. We will also be considering an alternative new players message to include the new available schemes.
Also, the NNA will be working with their counterparts at the MoFA to try and collect interesting international articles in addition to our weekly national collection.
Beyond our borders
The Foreign Office has set itself high ambitions for the month and will be aiming to spam the media with as much supposedly useful information from abroad as they can. The Ambassadorial program has taken off with huge enthusiasm from it’s staff, with already one participant promoted to Deputy Minister. They have also done sterling work in coordinating future campaigns with our allies which will no doubt make the upcoming strikes rather interesting.
Finally, MagicHeroes was overwhelmingly elected with all votes in Sirius to be it’s new SG, as was our own Count Drakula as MC. BigAnt had been nominated by our government on his request, however it appeared our allies preferred a different former UK CP of the time
😛.
Much obliged for reading n that, should see another one of these on the 13th :3.

Alliance is doomed with eUK people in charge.
Or, it's doomed with anyone in charge. Since all things come to an end. So by hastening the end, we're just limiting the damage we can do for relations between us and other countries, so its actually beneficial for us to have a SG seat.
Every situation is different. UKers actually stabalised ONE and TWO, the alliances I was actually involved with.
Being disbanded is stable yes.
For a long time they were. I left the game before TWO was disbanded, but that was certainly due to the Serb / Poland split and not any of the UKers that were left in.
The lack of Ale/Bitter [i.e. real beer] cans/bottles on that table is a clear indication I failed to attend; having seen those hand-cuffs, I'm glad i missed my alarm 😮
o7 Once sober the Ministry Of Education will get back to work!
That's me your friendly supplier of 'supposedly useful information'
xD
MoD got too drunk. Declared war on everyone. oops we dun goofed
Looks like you have some overtime hours stimulation. 😉
Anyway, nice plans, good luck!

That smug smile on his face... ugh.
clearly never seen yes minister/prime minister where it's based 😛
You're putting the majority of emergy's donation aside to be stolen by future cps? Silly.
This is a good point,me grant money should be kept somewhere safe and separate, at the least in it's own org
The grant money is safest in the Country Accounts, and should be taken out in small installments
Should invest it all quickly into new active involved citizens. Not in a urine in the wind way like nhs but targeted at a couple of months old players who are shown to be taking part in the community.
