[DemNL] Spir Tus for PP

Last summer there wasn't much activity in the political party DemNL. We were not doing great and had activity and motivation problems. The previous party presidents have done a lot since last summer to improve this and they succeeded. We have much more activity on the party forum and the party feed and we debate with each other. Thanks to the activity in the whole political arena and the effort of the previous party presidents we are now again a great party with a lot of good and active politicians. Although a lot of experienced players see our party as some party of the past, DemNL is a party with a lot of new polticians. If we go 18 months back in time, you will see almost none of our politicians was active back then. It is very important to underline this. We are a party of new politicians in an old skin. Of course we have also experienced players in DemNL who are the pillars of the party and have made the party in what it is today.

I would like to announce my candidature for party president of this great party. My excuses for my late announcement, I'm very busy at the moment. This will only be for a couple of days. From the 20th of March I am free to do what I want so time enough to prepare our party for the congress elections.

I won't change much in this term as party president. It will be a learning experience for me personally and I will try to listen to our members as much as possible. I think it's never good to change things drastically, so I will try to do the same as the previous party presidents. Probably I will also publish an election article for the congress elections.

We are a great party, but we have to make sure we don't fall asleep again. We may have the newest politicians, we don't have the newest members. New citizens choose for ReL, VN and even GPN. Why? I think we aren't outstanding enough like the other parties. Will this change during my term? Probably not. But I will try to do something about it. In the end it is more important to have active politicians than to have inactive members. I will try to keep stimulate the party activity like I do now by opening new topics and debates to create a discussion in our party about something which is urgent in congress or our country. We are not a unity like for example I&W. Our party exists of a lot of individuals with sometimes a lot of different opinions. That's our power, but I think it isn't bad to unite more and discuss things before we spew our opinions in congress. After all the congress members are representatives of the people who voted for our party.

I would like to invite every DemNL member to join our discussions on the forum and participate in them. It doesn't matter if you are just a few days old or only focussing on military things, we need different voices and perspective on things. You don't have to be interested in politics to help improving our party and country. If you aren't a member of DemNL, join us if you like! Or PM one of our party members to know more about our party.
