[DC] What makes me sad...

Day 2,388, 04:11 Published in Cuba Ireland by Bad BIue Boys

Hello eCuba
,
before I start writing the article, I'd like to ask someone to translate it on spanish, so if you care to bother with it, please let me know and I will send you this written in google docs.

The title of the article perfectly express my feelings about eCuba at this moment, it's so much different than it was when I came here, I was enthusiastic about the potentional to build a new country, found a friendly, multicultural community where everyone would be welcomed, a country everyone would love, an organised country our enemies would be afraid to attack, a great ally our friends would like to have besides them..

So, how all of this changed?
It all started the first day I joined #e.Cuba ; the same moment eCuban citizen (also Romanian iRL I think) accussed me I'm PTO'er. It's funny to listen this from someone who's not even RL Cuban. I thought that guy has some problems, maybe he was trying to get some power, to befriend RL Cubans, I didn't know. Days after this I've recieved logs where Albus Dumbledore talks about RL Croats, RL Serbs without any reason for it, he was insulting the whole nations, later he said he was joking, but that's when this guy became suspicious to me.

On official eCuban channel #e.Cuba I started to speak english, naturally because I don't speak spanish. As soon as I started to speak english there's been few spanish speakers saying how I should not speak english there, but to use #eCuba (an empty channel where no ones speak). So I'm asking spanish speakers, because they are presenting themselves as native Cubans, why are you creating this divisions since the start of eCuba? I know it's not all of you, but I'm asking for the reasonable part of spanish speakers to explain others importance of united community.

I've been invited to help MoFA team and I happily accepted this duty, I wanted to do anything just to help create eCuban country. eazyjp, my very good and old friend has been appointed as MoFA and he really is great choice for this position. I was interested to see the plans of the new Government, a way to go, some concrete things which are going to be done, I've been asking, but there was no response expect some google doc with plans such as: "To see our foreign affairs situation". Okay, I can understand that nothing can be promised at this point, but shouldn't we have some goals? I tried to use forum, but when I've registered it was all spanish, literally all the topics, all the replies, all categories, this improve the last time I've logged in there, but we still have to encourage everyone to use those forums.

What makes me sad?
I feel like spanish speakers (mostly RL South Americans and Spanish) are looking everyone else in this country as "foreign opressors" just because we don't speak spanish and in RL Cuba spanish is official language. I'm asking all of you to accept us, not just because we should work together for the stronger eCuba, but also because you don't have any special right on the country just because you speak spanish. Croats, Greeks, Macedonians, Serbs, Turks, we all came here after long campaign to vote for Cuba, Cuba got the biggest amount of votes exactly because of our countries who have strong political motive to vote for eCuba. I was so happy when country I voted for was added, my whole MU voted for eCuba, I've been asking my friends to give their vote for this country. After it was announced eCuba is going to be added I was so happy. Until I met some people here, who are only talking behind people's backs and trying to cause some divisions, well we're not let anyone separate us from eCuba, we wouldn't let Greeks or Serbs to separate Spanish if they've tried that for example, simply because we have ideals that all people of eCuba should work together, that's why we've asked for sharing Government in the first place, because we felt we're being left out.

United for eCuba isn't just a name of coalition, it represents our motives, by "united" we don't mean only Greeks, Serbs and Croats, we mean all nationalities, all people who wants to make some effort to make this country better. We'd really like to include more spanish speakers, we want to meet you guys, we want to show you can trust us, we want you to show we can trust you. No one here is better than someone else. eCuba is country of all of us and I'd really like we avoid dividing of the community.

No matter who wins on the coming elections I will support it. I won't do anything to stop our future President from running this country, on the contrary I will offer my help, because I believe we have to help each other. Politics is a bi*ch, don't let it divide people, language is only a barrier we have to overcome, don't let it become a barrier we're not able to smash.

With love,
Don Croata
