[CPF] Lowering Taxes

If we have learned anything from the past, lets hope it was good and someone should remind me what it was!
Anywho, just being a realist here and seeing that we are likely to be wiped again, we in the CPF believe Congress should act quickly to lower the Work Tax for Weapons, Food, WRM and FRM. We will also lower the VAT on Weapons and Food.
This is to minimize the loss of Canadian Tax Dollas to Spain and Poland, while making market prices more reasonable for Canadians during an occupation. We have begun discussing this on the forums and should hopefully be able to get this measure through within 2 days.
We believe a 2% tax rate is right for Canada, so once we begin to clean up our land again, our goal would be to reinstate a 2% level.

Sounds good, but we still have control over a few of our regions. We should wait until we lose 40% of our regions.

agreed. please lower it , it will not just make life easier for Canadians under occupation but it will also enable you to withstand any wacky changes that plato might throw at the game ..1 % tax across the board will allow you to do with when not having a congress

Why not raise it to 25%? The stated purpose of this war was to provide lulz. If the Poles and Spanish are willing to pay for those lulz, shouldn't they be properly compensated?
Before you say "no", consider that the same people who said we should do this may have said we'll be back on the map in seconds under the new RW rules... but what if they're wrong?
What if Canada is again gone for 9 months. Or longer?
Think of the hours of lulz that will provide!
Since we wanted this to happen, shouldn't we compensate our occupiers fairly for all that entertainment value?
