[CP] Multiple Fronts, and Many Thanks

Well what an interesting week it has been! I didn’t think my term as CP would be this hectic and fun, yet here we are! It all started out with the Canadian Community pushing for an AirStrike against Indonesia for some good giggles and butts, but shortly before this could go through, FYROM decided they wanted to pay a visit. My first reaction was that this was going to be a long drawn out fight, as they do about 4x our damage on a country scale. Either way, we knew that Canada would go Buck Wild on their whole operation, with the help of some great allies!

Surprisingly enough, Chile decides to NE Canada, because of this Article. Their CP responded to my PM with nothing much to say, other than some poor taste in humour I guess? So with the AS and NE I figured Canada would be in for a wipe, but could battle through and tear at them little by little. We already had a nice War Reserve building, so we figured lets double it!

We set up our Anti-Air defenses along the coast of Yukon, with some more mobile units mounted on the backs of Grizzle Bears. We were ready, side by side with our allies, especially those Greeks! The first round was huge, I even think it went epic, twice! After the dust settled though, Canada came out 11 – 0. From here on out, we had our defenses working like a well-oiled sex machine! After a long battle we dusted ourselves off, drank some maple syrup to restock our energy reserves, and noticed we were victorious, 88 – 0!

I understand FYROM was trying to have some regions, but hey, so were we, no hard feelings 😉

From here the focus was on Chile, as they had successfully landed in Nova Scotia and moved onto New Brunswick with ease. However, they must have thought we were going to be a walk in the park, because they did not expect us in Quebec. They won the first round 8 – 3, but from here on out, it was Canada and Allies all the way. We beat them 89 – 10, and took the charge, winning a quick RW in Nova Scotia that same day, we were then able to open up a RW in New Brunswick in line with our attack on Brittany. Both were great successes, and lead into one final salvo at Chile in Lower Normandy. An 88 – 0 win had shown clearly that Chile no longer decided to fight for its regions in Europe.

During all of these attacks, Canada, with the help of LETO, Asteria, and Allies, was able to support multiple RWs against Chile. This process lead to huge damage drains, and successful recovery of French, Australian, and Peruvian regions. This process helped remove their final foothold in Europe, and severely weakened their presence in the South Pacific and in South America. Their Tax income has dropped, and their Bonuses went from 10/10 Food + 10/10 Weapon, to 5/10 Food + 5/10 Weapon. I do not know why Chile decided to attack Canada, other than to help FYROM out, though would fighting for FYROM in the AirStrike have not been the simple choice? Either way, Chile it was nothing personal, but attacking us was your choice, and we as a nation did what we had to, to survive.

Canada no longer has a border with Chile, and has thus closed off our NE at the same time. We started enjoying a little vacation with our friends in France when just as expected, Poland decided to NE little ole Canada. I am not sure of their exact reason. Perhaps they know that Serbia is a puppet of Canada, and this is the best way to help their good friends in Spain out? I presume this is the only answer…

So Canada and friends, after two successful campaigns, finds itself preparing for a third. At this point we were ready for what was presumed to happen, Poland attacks Lower Normandy and helps out their buddy Spain in doing so, however a little tactical maneuvering and we have put Poland in a funny spot. We started a RW in Lower Normandy, thus preventing them to attack once their NE passed today. Canada will win this RW, but we also started a RW in Loire Valley, which will be successfully returned to France within the day. This now removes Poland’s borders with us, again, removing yet another NE. I am quite happy to say we have been victorious on a grand scale, and that is because of a lot of help.

A side not to this, in the process of RWing back regions, we were able to retake Brestskaya back for Belarus in hopes of a region for Congress!

Canada has many good friends around the world, and these past days has proven that. We asked for support, and our brothers were here to help us. I do believe that these campaigns were perfect examples of how allies must work in order for alliances and friendships to survive. You people helped Canada in a time of need, we will not forget that.

So here goes my long list of thank you’s!

Klop123, my VP and longtime friend, you have proven yourself over and over, so thank you very much for your time. To my Cabinet, Bryan for giving me money when I needed it, to ED, Punisher, and Xichael for staying up with wars, articles and orders, to Utat and Folphjorg for helping push MoE and energy programs for our young soldiers, to Dozzer for liaison between allies, Dill for the pickles, and Xander, Homer, Mary, Quentin and Minou for any words of wisdom!

I’d like to thank our Canadian MUs and soldiers for pushing hard when we needed it most, and to Fritzhill for going toe to toe with so many big hitters and keeping the wall for us at such key times. To the Canadian Congress for approving budgets when I asked, all parties, we thank you. Rylde and DMV, warriors the both of you, and Patriotic to your big supple teats, good job fellers!

Now for our friends out there, I will do my best! LETO and Asteria, you guys were huge in pushing Canada forward. Thydan, Andre, Informer, Mr Sherlock, Molly Jo and so many others. To France for helping coordinate our attacks together and for financial assistance, Flasckq, Robocall, Sheik Tonboule.
