[CP] It's Been Mildly Enjoyable [CP]

Today is the election, and the people are speaking. Right now you are all selecting my replacement and I must say I am glad of it.

I have not enjoyed being President very much.

It isn't being responsible for everything, or the frequent blame. 😉 It's the pressure to communicate. Jacobi once described me as a Silent Workhorse and he wasn't wrong. I liked doing my work and just getting on with it. Which is what I've done throughout this term. I never sought a second term, this was always a one shot deal for me. So I must admit I reverted to type, handled the nation's business through PMs, attended meetings and chats but didn't write articles. I hate writing articles.

At least this last term has gone to plan. eCanada is stronger for the break we took from international adventure-seeking. We have more funds, more international goodwill, and satisfied allies. In that I take some sense of satisfaction.

So I would like to thank eCanada for this last chance to serve. It has been, by me, much appreciated.

My best wishes to the next President. While the outcome is in no way certain, it looks like I shall be succeeded by Exalted Druid who has done an invaluable job this term as MoFA. I hope our community shows our next President as much support and love as I've received this term.
