"Commentary on Recent NZ Events"

Day 2,839, 11:30 Published in New Zealand New Zealand by Oboacer

Greetings eKiwis,

I'm writing today to offer a personal commentary on the recent events, eSpain occupation of our lands and the sudden arrival of eRomania to our shores. Both of these events have been major discussions among our community, I have seen it within the Peace 'n' Prosperity Party and I should note only the PnPP offered a commentary on the recent actions. I would like to hear from the other parties to hear their response.

But enough of that, what will follow is merely my own personal views on how these situations unfolded and possibly needs to be done by the NZ dictatorship and the eNZ government (which I must disclose I'm part of). So please merely takes these words as a concerned and observative kiwi.

I will first address eSpain. The agreement that led them to occupy 3 of the 4 regions of NZ. This was an acceptable agreement. They offered to pay, which they did, and were very opened about the ideas for which they needed our regions.

As MoE I supported this decision and there was no major dissent from the Country President or the other political parties in eNZ. This agreement allowed us to retain one region, gain financial backing and also build up solid relations with the larger nations of the New World. This was and I personally believe a better deal and a good deal that aided eNZ as we moved forward.

How it ended, with eSpain effectively being pushed out due to eChile pushing them aside and eventually eRomania has entered the region and we find ourselves in the current situation. I will again emphasis that this was a good agreement for our country at the time and it made absolute sense. We are small (145 citizens) and holding four regions is nearly impossible with our size. Retaining at least 1 or 2 is a reasonable consideration and this is why I believe that it is the type of model we should consider for the future.

I understand that many citizens were not pleased with this arrangement and it was considered a sell-out of our original regions. It needs to be understood that this benefited us and we need to accept the times we live in are very different from those of the past and if we are to remain on this map, compromise is needed.

Now onto the bigger issue which has arisen, the recent occupation by Romania. This was something that caught not only the eNZ gov't by surprise by many of our allies as well. It as not planned, no communication was made and when we were finally informed by Romania it was well after 3 of regions had fallen into their hands. What made it worse, we lost our last region (Otago) and thus could not run a Congressional election.

I want to make it clear that this entire situation was poorly handled and the eNZ gov't should have been more opened with the citizens of eNZ on how their contact with the Romanian gov't took place. As MoE, I take full responsibility for failure to inform the people and therefore would like to make it clear transparency broke down.

I would say again that at a minimum we should seek to ensure that NZ retains at least one region so that we can hold elections, we can elect a Country President (with real authority) and ensure that we are existing. I again strongly feel that communication needs to be established and we need to possibly adopt a policy that seeks to emphasis the retention of at least a single region.. I hope that this will stir a debate among our citizens, the political parties and the upper reaches of the eNZ gov't.

Well these are my comments and I hope that the citizens of eNZ will hear these words, discuss the ideas proposed and understand that this has taken place and we are eNZ needs to fully understand what our nation must do as we move forward.

I humbly present this to you! And look forward to future discussions.

Sincerely,
Oboacer,
Minister of Education,
PnPP Party President
