I am James Schubert and I am running for Country President. When I get elected president I will help our country renew itself and give rebirth to a new era in eUSA. I am a 5-term congressmen and former eUSA media director. I know how things work. I feel the unhappiness about the state of the game.

Here’s the thing: The old guard must help a new generation move forward. We must show that we are open to acceptance, not keep the door shut on anyone excluding them. We need leaders that listen, are effective, honest, balanced and determined to bring results that will help eUSA to be more productive.

Government must have transparency. Leaders must show they are to show that is faithful to citizens in all matters that concerns them. Good leaders are driven by truth, honesty and integrity. All our officials must be held accountable since they are making some of most difficult choices in the country or in government. The Chief of Staff Paper must be brought back to publish reports to inform people. If elected CP I will stay connected with people by making sure I publish articles on a regular basis. Leaders must set the right tone. To quote Naomi Klein, “You actually cannot sell the idea of freedom, democracy, diversity, as if it were a brand attribute and not reality -- not at the same time as you're bombing people, you can't.”

The eUSA needs to forge new relations with nations through friendship and common goals. Our eNation needs a concrete plan to work with other nations, sign off on agreements and make compromises that can be beneficial for all nations we have relations with. We need a President who can think critically about countries to keep on our MPP stack and which to let go. Logistically, we cannot be friends with every nation. MMPs serve as an instrument in a pursuit of bigger goals for the long term. Our nation should protect and defend, not destroy and conquer.

To make sure we are well prepared and secure for the future the Secretary of Defense and National Security Council departments should be merged, not separate institutions. I like to see the decision making process be a more precise logistically and strategically. Discussion and negotiation skills will be key to our future after the Resource Wars are over. eUSA can’t afford to put itself into dangerous positions and regret the consequences of its actions later.

The old guard should help educate our citizens to help bring more awareness. With the lack of Foreign Agenda knowledge, I would like to see an International News writing group formed with writers that would like to share knowledge from abroad in the eUSA media. There must be other ways than becoming an ambassador to get informed on foreign affairs.

The people want someone that truly cares, someone who focuses on what counts: the people. Experience should not be the only factor in electing the President. On my watch our nation will succeed and help strengthen our resolve for our future. Now is your time. If you believe I am the right person, let me earn your vote in fairness. It’s time to move forward. Let’s renew our faith in eUSA.

This is the cabinet I have chosen to lead the new generation of citizens to succeed by empowering them with the knowledge to take on new opportunities in their eRepublik career. They reflect my strengths and my weaknesses and fill in for my weaknesses.

Together, we can succeed in making that all eUSA citiziens expect of our government.
