Greeting citizens of eJapan, todays article ( also there will be more in the future ) will be devoted to the Japan Animator Expo project/Nihon Animator Mihonichi. For those who may not know what Japan Animator Expo project exactly is, here is a short explanation.



Japan Animator Expo is a project of weekly anime shorts from Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara ( Evangelion movies ) and the media company Dwango. It's the showcase of the animations produced by various directors with love and energy, which are planned from original projects, spin-off projects, promotional films, Music PV, and VJ Films etc...They will stream new short every week for a planned total of 30 shorts, ranging from original projects and spinoffs to promotional videos and music videos. So far they have streamed 4 projects, and here they are:



The Dragon Dentist

Story:
A girl comes there to become a dentist of dragon. She is with other new freshman applicants, but there is no announcement from a senior as a guidance. They are confused and taken along with the senior. The only way is just to walk through freshman's path, which is dark and strange. They do not know where they are. Not knowing what to do, she is approaching to the secret of dragon, but she does not realize yet. The adventure has already begun.

Hill Climb Girl

Story:
Hinako, a high school girl, loves to ride a bicycle, who respects a professional road racer. Every morning she competes with a boy of her classmate to the way to their school on the hill, riding her mama chari bicycle, but she loses the game every time. Frustrated Hinako gets a chance for winning the game from the video of her favorite cycle racer and is ready for the game next morning…

The tale of a small not quite doujin circle, but not quite indie studio's journey through the tough territory of comiket and beyond.
