Tomorrow's election is yet another opportunity to fix this eNation. However, the MEDIA is giving you two false choices, Tyler and Resoula. Each candidate WILL continue the same failed policies and out of touch governance that have lead to the downfall of our society.
These forum games like Mafia and Werewolves are a child's solution to bringing excitement back to a game that has it's own tools to provide excitement. Who the hell wants to log on just to play some bullsht forum child's game. THAT IS NOT A SOLUTION.
There are three key elements of the ACTUAL GAME THAT WE ARE PLAYING; EREPUBLIK!
The solution is to make the military rp aspect great again. Hell, I signed up for the USAF a month ago...haven't heard a peep. I imagine if I signed up two years ago I'd be a CO of a training battalion by now. If we don't fix this, then people don't have the opportunity play as if they are a military commander. Sure, they can fork over hundreds of dollars to become a lord of war or some crap, but for new players...NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, so let's make the game work for the new players, not the oldfags that don't know when to quit.
The solution is to fix the political debates. When you have bs parties in your top 10, and someone can PTO a top 10 party...that's a recipe for disaster. The whole election cycle is just a few articles of "well I was Secretary of this, secretary of that, I sucked this guy off...blah blah blah." We don't elect people anymore, we anoint them. Again, noobs aren't involved.
The solution is to fix the economy. It is damn near impossible to start a profitable business now because the market is full of foreign goods. With all the wealth in this eNation, why don't we not give out small business loans? Why don't we have a "Buy eMerican" program?
It is as if the ruling elite does not care anymore.

Scroll down to #18. She's only been playing for a year and she's considered an influential citizen of eUSA. The country isn't completely ruled by old farts. It's run by people with experience and the drive to do something to contribute to the nation. Sure, nobody's going to elect a noob to be CP. But that's because people don't know what you're capable of doing. But besides that, you have just as much ability to participate in government as any old fart.
Why aren't you in gov? Have you asked any of the Secretaries (of the Chief of Staff) if you can help? Most likely not. You're quick to dismiss the current government because they're old and experienced, but honestly, who in their right mind would elect someone who's only been playing for a month?
You want to run a Military Unit? Do you know even know how to run a platoon? It takes a lot of time and energy just to manage 10 people, let alone 200-300 people. Not many people have the skill or willpower to do that. There's not that many active people in the country anymore, so you shouldn't be expecting to advance through the ranks that quickly. Though, if you stuck with the USAF, and decided to talk to people instead of assuming they're suppose to do all the work, you'd have gotten somewhere within the Armed Forces by now. The energy you put forward is the energy you'll get back in return. Show you can stick with a MU and remain active, as well as be proactive, THEN you'll get up there.
But I have to agree with you on the point you made about the economy. It's hard to make money manufacturing goods as a new (or an old player that doesn't have as much as most). But there's really nothing you can do about that... That's just the state of the game.
Overall, I think you need to experience the game for more than a month before you can begin to make the conclusions you're making. And you'll need A LOT more experience to be elected CP. Right now just isn't your time.
