Salutations, fine citizens of our Imperial Islands.

I write today to report on the month of February. Initially, congressional progress was slow as we waited for a new cabinet and president to take office. However, once a new president was appointed little was accomplished. The month of February marked partisan gridlock but, with the serbs, the DNP was able to control the congress.

Now it appears the PTO is in full swing and will get more congressional power than any other party. The Serb media now no longer makes an effort to hide their intentions to PTO. The new government will be largely in control by the PTOers, they no longer need the DNP and I would not be surprised if they made a run for presidency.

In February little was accomplished. The DNP government failed to implement a new voting system (gave up, rather) and come today we STILL have not implemented a new immigration law. There was political opposition but I saw no real effort, from the current government, to work with the political opposition to take care of key issues.

The single greatest success of the month was a lone victory over eTaiwan, another battle of liberation is being waged as we speak.

With the failures of this last month in mind I ask the citizens of the Empire, what kind of government do you really want? Can you expect another PTO backed government to accomplish anymore than they have shown capable of accomplishing?(political gridlock) Regardless of what our new government will look like I want to work with all true eJapanese, those who are loyal to only eJapan, to create a better Empire.
