With July 30th upon us as of today, that means that Country President elections are in 6 days. If I recall correctly, that means Political Parties have to have their choice for who to support as Country President picked by Monday.

With the deadline looming, the length of campaigning is really starting to get short. Does whoever want to run for CP have a platform set up? A cabinet picked out? There's still time, but not a whole bunch of it.

Nobody has really declared their intentions publicly as of yet. Most definitely there have been no platforms to be read or cabinets to be beheld. It brings about a peculiar thought.

It seems that the community of eCanada has decided collectively that running for office is a bad idea, and leave the office empty

But what can we do. Everybody would like to complain and complain, rather than stepping up and trying to change something.

If you don't like the way things are run, then run for Country President yourself and see if your ideas can take off to be the next big thing in Canada.
