Where do we go from here?

What are your goals in this game? Are they the same when you first started? Do you like making friends? Does this game keep you distracted from RL? Do you like shiny things on your profile?

This game has changed a ton since I first started playing. Many players have come and gone. Some people have even passed on. The admins have implemented a great deal of changes. One thing is for certain, this game can bring out the best AND worst in people. What is it that you get out of it? How long do you plan to stay?

What would you like to see changed aside from the ever pressing issue of the economy? Am I asking too many questions? I'm just jotting stuff down as it comes to me to be honest. I myself constantly feel as if I keep coming to a crossroads and have to keep reinventing myself to keep myself here. Why do I do it? Well, partly addiction.

I still get a rush from winning. Not the same rush as many medals ago, but it's still there. I also like reading shouts and feel as if I'm on one big team. It's a daily thing I do. I log in to see who has said what and see "what's wrong with the game now". I kill things, work, train, rinse and repeat. I've logged in from my places around the world and many devices whether it be my phone, laptop or desktop. I've spent countless hours here so the time invested also keeps me here.

I haven't had a major reason to walk away from the game. I'm a tad bit older than most so I have more patience and can stick with certain things more than others. I've done my share of country and MU hopping but I stay loyal to certain things. For example, I will never fight FOR eSpain for any huge amount. 25 kills for Merc or X number for a FF medal sure. But never on their side to help them win. I've softened on eSerbia a tad because let's face it, there's some really cool Serbs out there as well as eSerbs. As far as ePoland goes, I'm part RL Polish so I find it hard to hate them even though they can be back stabbing @&%#@*^s.

I've pretty much done everything there is to do in this game. The new dictator and liberator aspect to the game is somewhat cool and intriguing but unless there's money to plunder it's pretty much a waste of time, energy and resources. Another portion of the game is Guerilla fighting. I myself have lost total interest in it. It's too clunky and not very accurate.

So, yeah... I think I've spewed on enough. I haven't written in awhile other than my new MUs recruitment article so I figured I'd throw one out there. I was also inspired by HarliQuinn to write. Nothing as thought provoking as her short snippets but it's something nonetheless.

In the end, do what makes you happy. Whatever it is. Stay true to you. o7
