My companies are all located in Shannon (80% bonus i think)...yet this region is going to be permanently occupied. Why? and which region is safe to put my holding in?

It is not going to be permanently wiped. The issue is outside people setting RWs when they needed to wait.

The resource regions of Mayo and Cork are not being affected by the tw.

Your old enough to know how occupation works, or should do by now, placing company's on a region that borders another country is always going to be a risk. the goverment makes the best decisions it can when negotiating the return of regions, its natural that some citizens will feel let down if the region they have a holding company in, is one of the last to be freed.
The answer is fight hard to help free the other regions per the plan, then yours will be free quicker, moving company's to another holding company is prohibitively costly and unneeded at this time.
Also as I stated above, if you or anyone is effected by the TW, please PM me and I will try and find a workable compensation for you. If I can spend over 100k on COs due to an accidental 'auto attack' as well as outside interference, I am more then happy to help the hard workers of eIreland.
