Ukraine's Ambassador to Armenia Impressed by the Nation's Education Improvements

Armenia's Minister of Education, Armen Ashotyan has recently thanked Ukraine's Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Kukhta for his help & support in continuing strengthening and developing the relations between Armenia and Ukraine within the fields of education & science during his 5 years of service in Armenia. As the minister noted, 1 of the amazing achievements of the Armenia-Ukraine relations was the historic ceremonial opening of the museum-hall that is dedicated to 200th anniversary of the birth of T.Shevchenko in Yerevan's High School #42. The minister also thanked the ambassador for his active participation of the delegation that was headed by Ukraine's Minister of Education in the Ministerial Conference and the Bologna Policy Forum in the heart of Yerevan.

The ambassador is his own turn expressed his great gratitude to Armenia's education minister for his cooperative & productive work, emphasizing that's it's really been a great pleasure for him working in Armenia.

The 2 have also talked about the prospects of strengthening the Armenia-Ukraine relations as well as new possibilities in the international education platforms which is particularly within the framework of the Eastern Partnership as well as the "Erasmus+" and "Horizon 2020" programmes.

The 2 parties have expressed confidence that the joint Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation holds a really great potential of development within the educational system as both country's educational systems go along the road of conforming to the European educational standards so that the very productive experience of 1 country can be very, very useful to each other.
