The States of Sirius

Greetings Bros, I've got a temporary lapse of things to do in RL so I figured I would put an article out there. Without further ado heres a brief rundown of Sirius countries/how they are doing.

Brazil

Blurb: Brazil has been in a tough spot for quite some time, remaining conquered by Argentina for the better part of the last ten months. In general Brazil has only been able to break free at times when determination was high, however most of these occurrences have been at times chosen by Argentina to strategically reset the determination bonus before congress time so that Brazil cannot maintain a congress. Hopefully the tide will soon turn for the Brazilians, time will tell.



United Kingdom

Blurb: The United Kingdom was recently engaged in a conflict with both Finland and the Republic of Moldova. Things weren't looking pretty for a while as the UK's dark blue was marred by the RoM, Finland, and France, as well as the allied forces of the United States and Poland as they they sought to help drive the invaders back from the UK's shores. Though it required great sacrifice on the part of all those involved the enemies of the UK and Sirius were driven back. Currently the UK is content holding on to its core regions and helping its allies through MPP battles.



Croatia

Blurb: Croatia is carrying on with the same MO they've had for ages now. Sit tight in India maintaining a decent set of bonuses and strike Serbia with strategically with RW's when the need or opportunity arises. In this way Croatia is able to consistently preserve its congress and still provide support to its allies. Currently Croatia has six regions in Europe and is using them to go after Hungary.



Spain

Blurb: Spain was (relatively) recently the target of a Romanian airstrike during which they were forced to abandon their core regions and take temporary refuge in Canada. Once Romania's 2x bonus was over Spain was able to retake its cores, however they have not been involved in any offensive operations since then with the exception of holding a few French regions for a couple days. It seems like Spain is content at the moment to focus on helping allies through MPP battles rather than go on a quest for its own resources. Kudos to them for that.



Poland

United States

Blurb:Up until just a few days ago the US was enjoying the coveted 10/10, however under the combined weight of determined resistance fighters as well as a Portuguese MU which decided to celebrate its birthday by launching attacks against the US the 10/10 was lost. The United States is currently wiping Canada and will regain an iron bonus once the battle is completed, perhaps then they will turn their attention to regaining the rubber region that they lost to the French. The bigger issue is finding a way to regain saltpeter from Mexico as the US and Mexico share MPP's and an attack against Mexico would cost both countries a significant sum of money.



Turkey

Bonuses:80% weapons bonus and 100% food bonus. Turkey is lacking only rubber, however options in the region are essentially non-existent.

Blurb:I'm afraid to say that I don't know very much about Turkey, aside from the fact that they seem to have very stable access to 9/10 resource bonuses. They essentially split the Middle East with Turkey conquering Iran and half of Saudi Arabia while Greece takes Egypt and the other half of Saudi Arabia.
